Myself and my daughter had a meal. Her main course was overly salted and a dead fly was on her food.. We pointed this out to management who apoligised but didnt appear to have the experience or insight to deal with the complaint satisfactorly. Very disapointing and spoiled what could have been a lovely evening.

Went for lunch and enjoyed it - they do the basics but do them well. The fish and chips were incredibly fresh, and the burger a friend got was delicious. The service was surprisingly slow given that we were one of the few customers in the pub at that time (we got in about 10 minutes after opening).

Lovely menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our meal was delicious and even though it was very busy we were not kept waiting.

Happened upon this place when looking for an evening meal. It is on the edge of the town near the Ice House hotel. Much more impressive on the inside than outside impression. Staff were really nice as was the character of the place. Good range menu for a pub / restaurant. Tasty, well presented, good quality food and plenty of... More

Called here many times over last twenty years. Food is typical pub fare. Gets busy early evenings with a lot of families with children using the facilities. Can become quite busy. Tried to get in on a Sunday evening and was told there would be an hours wait. Went in mid week and less busy. Varied menu. Steak, fish and... More

This pub is right by the river and serves great pub grub. It offers a vibrant traditional atmosphere with musicians starting up an impromptu session, which was great fun. Staff were very friendly, and certainly family friendly!!
