One of the best dining experiences we had in Ireland. The pub area was very cozy on a cold damp night. We weren't very hungry and both had the fish chowder. The food was excellent and the waiter attentive. He recommended a great desert. The Guiness was good as usual.

We are a couple in our 60s and well traveled. This was my 56th trip to Europe for holidays. We visited Lord Baker's on recommendation of the hostess of our B&B who made reservations for us. It was an excellent choice. Reservations were for 6 pm and there were few people there at the time but the restaurant filled up... More

Amazing food and extremely polite/friendly staff. There is nothing that we tried and found unpleasant! The owners practically greet you at the door. A must see place that we will definitely be seeing again. It was a splurge for us price wise, but definitely worth it!

I generally shy away from restaurants that look like pubs, especially in touristy places - Lord Bakers is different. Not pretentious, but with solid quality, the food is excellent and well presented. Service is quick and pleasant, and the prices reasionable. The menu is solid and one could eat there frequently without being bored. We enjoyed it.

We had just arrived in town and found a dizzying array restaurants as we drove around town. After finding a parking spot on Main Street (no easy task), we looked into eating at the a number of restaurants and pubs in Dingle. Several were full or due to close food service. We settled on Lord Baker's, reportedly the oldest Gastro... More

The grilled Brill...the daily special...was so good, we brought six or our friends back the next night to dine a second time.

Having enjoyed great pub food on our trip, we decided one night to 'kick it up a notch' and chose Lord Bakers for dinner. We made a great choice. It had a great dimly lit atmosphere and the service was perfect. Without reservations we were met a the door with a smile and seated very soon after. Our waiter was... More

Walking up Main Street, seeking good food, we chanced on this gem. As soon as we came through the door, I felt the warmth of the ambience. All around, people were enjoying good food. The "maitre de" welcomed us as if we were old friends, found us a table, and gave us each a menu full of culinary delights. And... More

Owner/manager seats us and oversaw our service closeup. Nice atmosphere, good value. 'Downtown Dingle', good location. Sorry but I started this in June when we were there and didn't finish. Can't remember what I had but I wouldn't have started if it wasn't good...

We'd heard good things about this place but in the end were a little disappointed. The prices are a bit steeper than most places so you would expect good food and service. We ordered Steaks which were not too badly priced at €26 for a top restaurant. The meat was actually cooked to perfection and was delicious. I guess steak... More
