We had some beers here in the back room while the shenanigans played lovely music. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Some of the patrons danced or sang along, the service was very nice.

We were there for dinner and had life music included. The food is pub-style, average. Good beer, cold and well spilled. But the atmosphere is super. The band was good and lively, they kept the mood up, had people singing and we had the honour of a river dance from a Californian girl of Irish descent. An amusing dinner, and... More

We experience Murphy's both as a B&B and as a pub for dinner and we have been equally pleased with both. The B&B is lovely, room was spacious and clean with a nice view on the town. Bathroom was a little bit weird with a sliding door that was not exactly closing, but it was a minor issue on an... More

Second time in this place and it didn't disappoint .Guinness is great and the seafood chowder is a must . First time we met the old resident dog sadly the second time we visited we were told he passed away . Great friendly helpful staff ,will definitely visit again.

A bustling, busy typical Irish pub, the 40 minute wait for food was well worth it. The music was lovely, the accommodation neat and clean and breakfast lovely. The friendliness of all the staff made the experience so special.

Had a meal there recently and expected much more from it considering the positive reviews it gets and previous experience there! The stuffed pork was tough end of. The blunt knife didn't help matters either!! The cod was nice but definitely a very small portion - I was still hungry afterwards. The entertainment "shenanigans" were okay musically but felt the... Murphy's pub is a busy place with lots of atmosphere. Food is delicious with freshly caught fish on the menu each evening. Their B&B is an efficiently run place to stay with delicious 'Full Irish Breakfast'. As a walker, an endless supply of tea is essential and their lounge provides welcome tea making facilities. Murphy's is a stone's throw from... More
