Recommended to us by the owner of Pax House where we were staying, we had a romantic, and fantastic dinner here. Expensive but worth every bite!

Just had a lovely meal here last night. We went for the early-bird menu. The food was fantastic. The ambience was fantastic. Service and value for money was, you guessed it, fantastic! A must for anyone eating out in Dingle. Book in advance though, very popular.

The majority of the food was good except for the steak. We ordered oysters, salads, Lamb, Lobster Thermidor and the 3 course steak. The steak was fatty. While the food was good the service was bad. There is a man, who seems to be the owner, who takes the orders. After taking our order we were basically ignored. Sat for... More

Great food and good service. Though the restaurant is a little small and can get a bit hot inside, these complaints are made up for by superb food. The four of us had the three course menu and none of use were disappointed.

We did the early bird menu. The menu cost 32 Euro for a 3-course menu. Considering that it's an early bird menu, I think that's quite expensive. There was a kid's menu and it was OK too. The service was average and the waiters could have been a bit more friendly. The food was tasty and good. Overall, a nice... More

Ever go to one of those paces where the whole menu looks amazing and you can't decide what to have? Had a meal here and found myself picking off the plates of others and not one bite disappointed. Try the Thai mussels...locally caught of course...and top it off with the homemade tiramisu

The restaurant is charming with great food and service. It's a bit expensive but worth it. Try the salmon.

We've been going to Dingle forever as it's site of our family ancestry and the Half Door always is a place we eat: was great when the town was small and had far fewer choices; still is!

We were walking in to town and stopped to read the menu at The Half Door. The early bird offerings sounded wonderful to us, and after a quick discussion the decision was made to dine here. Entering a super cosy restaurant and were made to feel very welcome immediately. A theme that continued for the rest of the evening. Now... More

We stopped into the Half Door and took advantage of their early bird value menu (served 6-7pm). Lots of good choices served impeccably. The service was excellent and the food worth the price. The desserts were quite a treat though hard to eat since we were so full! They had an extensive wine list--unusual for a town full of pubs.... More
