I had never had Chowder before and I tried theirs and it was lovely, very tasty and more fish than I expected, very good value.

After being out on a boat for a day or walking headlands around Dingle, I love coming back to Chowder for a Club Sandwich and a bowl of Chowder. Very filling, tasty and wholesome, served by very friendly staff.

Reading other reviews, we chose to visit the Chowder Cafe & Restaurant. It was a rainy day but the wonderful seafood chowder warmed our spirits. It was so delicious we returned the next day for lunch and another bowl and this time topped it off with a dark chocolate brownie to die for !!!

As the name of the restaurant says, chowder is what they specialise in. And it is good, actually more than good, it is great. Apart from the chowder I had a pot of tea, followed by the bread cake which was also great. The cafe does not have wifi and does not take bookings so it is first come first... More

I love traveling to Ireland because the food is so good, this place was a huge disappointment. The chowder is bland, no flavor what so ever. The haddock was also bland, small portion and definitely not worth the rating it has. Service and the Irish are usually so friendly and welcoming, well not here. They weren't rude but certainly didn't... More

This is a small café in a handy spot in Dingle. All food served was very good, but if you have a celiac condition they only have the soup for you, which is limiting. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful; the place is clean and well cared-for. Seems always to be busy and there's a fair range of foods, specialising... More

Whenever we visit dingle we call to chowder. The food is always delicious whether you go for the homemade soup, chowder, fish or chicken goujons. And the homemade chips are to die for. Very friendly and pleasant staff and the café is spotless.

We briefly popped into here late afternoon and grabbed a coffee. I decided to grab a bowl of their chowder for the children to eat before we had our main tea at out of the blue. I have to say that their chowder did not disappoint, it had so many variations of fish and was plentiful it even beat the... More

We are a small restaurant serving breakfast using locally made bacon, puddings and sausages along with local free range eggs. We also have pancakes with fresh fruit and maple flavour syrup. served 10-12, Our lunch menu 12-4 is about Dingle fresh fish and Irish meat. Our Chowder is recommended We do have a great Club sandwich menu including veggie ones. Please note that we are a small kitchen which means we cannot cater for gluten/nut allergies, also vegans should be aware we of our limitations. Regarding credit/debit cards we don't accept them as the bank charges we are offered are too high.We would rather keep our prices as reasonable as possible.
