Drove in the gates of Dromquinna Manor and found myself way down near a jetty at the Boathouse Bistro which is an inviting fresh blue and white building. Feeling peckish I wandered in and was shown to a nice table. Had a bowl of creamy...More

Many thanks Nicola and great that you found us. The Boathouse is a real find as you do not know we are on the water when passing. Hope to see you again. Next time try the Calamari. Thanks for reviewing.

We recently dined here for dinner and I was blown away by the place. It seemed casual and yet elegant at the same time. Cosy spot on the water with excellent food. I recommend a stop here if you get the chance.

The short drive to the boathouse builds the atmosphere of the location on the waters edge and the sea foods on the menu match the views from the pier. Desmond.

Yes the Fish and Chips is the most popular dish on the menu and it should be as most of the fish is landed on the pier. Its our favourite too. Thanks for visiting and posting.

Great food well presented in delightful ambience by excellent staff with attention to detail. The South African Chenin Blanc was perfect with our varied seafood. Well done James and staff take a bow

The Chenin Blanc is lovely and a welcome change from the more popular grapes. We are looking forward to September when we embark on selecting the new wines for the list. Oh my head!!!!
