We had a really nice late lunch here - Soups, sandwiches and beautiful fresh salad. Rasonably priced and good service. I would definitely recommend!

We had lunch here during our trip on the Wild Atlantic Way. We had fish and chips and salmon sandwich. The lady running the place was very kind and efficient and the food was delicious. They even arranged for a fruit salad at the end!

The varied menu and cosy atmosphere makes the Purple Heather one of our favourites for lunch. Great chowder, and open crab sandwiches, plus many others to suit your appetite.

What more can you say about a place that your cousin has enjoyed for 50+ years and we have enjoyed for more than 10 years. Warm, cosy, friendly, the ultimate in Irish comfort food. Brown bread, smoked salmon, Irish cheeses, fluffy omelets....the list goes on....More

We just had lunch there. The best Scones I have ever tasted. We had Crab Cocktail and an Omelette - both lovely. The owned Grainne O'Connell was wonderfully friendly and helpful.
