We stopped in here for a snack around lunch hour and had a pleasant meal. Good menu and helpful staff.

Had a quick soup and sandwich here before heading back to Wexford. Nice menu with a good choice. Service was good and the food very good value.

The salad may have been an unfortunate choice for lunch as many of the reviews for this restaurant are very good but that is all I can base my review on in this instance. The vegetarian salad was very poor; some red cabbage, shredded carrot...More

We were travelling around the Ring of Kerry and wanted a crab sandwich. You would have thought that wouldn't have been too much to ask considering our close proximity to the sea but we drove 60 miles before we found a menu with one on...More

Only just OK. Not the cleanest spot. Could do with a good dusting. Menu options for an allergy were very limited as was much understanding of the requirement other than a confusing allergy menu. Inexperienced waiter. Maybe someone more experienced and knowledgeable should be dealing...More

We had heard of The Purple Heather and opted to take on the quest for a parking place. It was a dull, damp drive south but our luck changes as a space directly across the street was vacant! We both opted for a lunch offering...More

Dropped in for a light lunch yesterday and shared a cold platter. All of the ingredients were good but the home made pate was great. Add friendly hosts and interesting decorations make visiting here when in Kenmore recommended

We just had lunch there. The best Scones I have ever tasted. We had Crab Cocktail and an Omelette - both lovely. The owned Grainne O'Connell was wonderfully friendly and helpful.
