If you need to escape the shopping chores the Purple Heather offers a peaceful and enjoyable rest place. The traditional decor takes you back in time in a relaxed and very friendly manner. The menu is extensive but simple offering light snacks and good coffee...More
Had a quick soup and sandwich here before heading back to Wexford. Nice menu with a good choice. Service was good and the food very good value.
On the day we were leaving Kenmare we dropped in here to have lunch. We just had soup and sandwiches and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly

Dropped in for a light lunch yesterday and shared a cold platter. All of the ingredients were good but the home made pate was great. Add friendly hosts and interesting decorations make visiting here when in Kenmore recommended
