We liked this place so much we were here twice--first on Sunday afternoon for drinks at the bar, and again the following night for dinner. The bar area is small, but there is a lovely sitting area just opposite, with a fireplace. The food was good and not too pricey and the service friendly and helpful.

Called in here with my wife for a bit of lunch after being tempted by the menu displayed outside. It's a huge premises and is full of character with a blazing fire, plenty of interesting pictures on the walls, hundreds of different bank notes hanging from the ceiling and nice background music. The staff are efficient, friendly and very laid... More

This spot has never failed to warm our hands and our hearts. You'll be greeted in the entry by traditional music playing on the radio, and a small fire burning in the front fireplace. Great location, great food, and great entertainment. Write a brief message on a bank note, and they'll let you tack it to the beam above the... More

Good pub food. Cottage pie was gluten free, which suited my needs (Celiac). Their gluten free options were limited. Bartenders and wait staff were not local - we found them all to be not that friendly. Music was not very energetic, but the lone guy was talented.

Large serving area and friendly staff. Plenty of menu choices and good selection of beverages. Nice pub atmosphere with location right on the main street.

We had a long day with kids and didn't fancy sitting in a restaurant. The menu looked good. We asked for crab claws and mussels to take home. Top quality food and great staff.

We stopped in a party of 4 and were invited in to warm hospitable setting. The menu and overall lunch of traditional Irish cottage pie, fish sandwich and great homemade soup was terrific! Highly recommend for a great pub lunch!

Lovely pub but not many locals to be seen (ie full of tourists like myself!). Food is good hearty pub grub. Really good chowder there. Live music at night. Great decor. Traditional style with open fireplace. Very welcoming.

Ate there twice. Enjoyed a good meal at a reasonable price. Live music in evenings and of course a good pint of Guinness.

Thank Joanna M
