The room would have been OK during the day for Lunch not great for evening. The food was just about OK and the staff were Hot and cold.I won't be back as there are so many restaurants to choose from in Kenmare. All want your business. In general none of them are cheap but some are worth it for the quality of... My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here last night, and I cant stop thinking about how marvelous the meal was! This was our first time here and we are from Minnesota, USA, so I don't think we will be back soon, but if we could we would. We started with the fresh oysters and they were excellent..so... More

We ate everywhere in Kenmare and the fish was very good, as usual! The wine disappointed and I thought overpriced. Staff were terrific and overall experience was very good.

Lovely place to have a good quality meal. Nice dining room, lovely food and the service were very memorable. The pictures of Tom, the memorabilia and the set up of the room creates a nice atmosphere. While not cheap it is good value when everything is considered. Definitely a repeater !

I stayed in the attached Tom Crean accommodation but wouldn't usually dine in the same place I stay purely because I want to sample as much as the locality has to offer. I landed in Kenmare craving some seafood and strangely for a town in Kerry - not too many places had a good selection on offer. So back to... More

Choice was good and food was pleasant enough but would have expected higher standard for the price. My fish was a little bit overcooked, my partners fish dish was excellent. Desert was very good but regretted ordering coffee as my espresso tasted like a watered down americano. Asked for one more coffee but just got the same version, made with... More

This lovely little place had fine service (great with the kids) and fantastic fresh seafood, as well as other dishes. So glad we tried it! It's also a small museum of sorts dedicated to the antarctic explorer from Kerry, Tom Crean, grandfather of the owner. This made it fun and interesting for the kids, too.

Loved learning about Tom Crean, and eating food inspired by his story. Food was very good. Restaurant was very busy, but took care of us nicely. Loved the roaring Antarctic scene. Love having a picture of my grandboy with the statue of Tom Crean.
