Arrived on a Wednesday evening and stood in the hall waiting to be seated or see if they had a table. Stood there for a few minutes as the staff walked past and ignored us...we then asked staff can we get a table....told to wait two minutes. We did...we stood for another five mins and eventually left as a member... More

I have been here twice in recent months and highly recommend it. The first time we ate here we were a party of six adults, a child and a toddler. When I popped in to enquire about availability for dinner I wasn’t sure it would be suitable for a toddler/Children however they immediately made space for us all and produced... More

Nice little restaurant, still owned by the descendants of the famous name giving Antarctia explorer. Very friendly, quick staff. Decent wine variety. Main dishes good, but almost all of them over € 20,- And no Guinness from the tap.

Thomas Crean was part of Shackleton's three voyages to Antarctica. Known for his ability to deal with all types of hardships and his leadership qualities, Crean was born near by Kenmare, Ireland and retired there. In his retirement, he started the restaurant that his granddaughter runs today. The eating area was comfortable and the wait staff was helpful and hospitable.... More

We enjoyed two delicious dinners here. We chose it for our first night and enjoyed the food so much we went back the second night of our visit to Kenmore. The staff are great fun as well. Excellent seafood.

Celebrated John Mc 80th birthday last night. We all had a great evening, lovely food and especially nice staff who made us all very welcome and sang happy birthday to John. The black sole was stunning and a real treat for the visitors from England. Good luck with the trip to South Georgia.

We both had the lobster here and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the oysters which he said were very good. We got a bonus by going on a Monday night as they had an Irish band playing in the dining room. The band consisted of 3 siblings, two boys and a girl. Not only were they good musically, but... More

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B host. It was excellent! The menu has a good selection and our party of four had Lobster, Mussels, Irish Pork, and Seafood Gratin. Each entree was beautifully presented and delicious. We are here for a short visit and will probably go back. We found the wait staff to be efficient and delightful.

In the midst of our Irish odyssey, our group of eleven travelers settled into our wonderful Kenmare guesthouse. As I was strolling the streets, Tom Crean Fish and Wine Restaurant caught my eye. I have long been an admirer of the great Irish polar explorer and hero and have read a good deal about his accomplishments. I stepped inside to... More
