We decided on this place for lunch as the more popular ones were closed. The place was packed, and we barely found space for ourselves (quite a squeeze & couldn't use a high chair for child). However, the food was tasty and my girl had her hot choc so all was good. Overall, this place may be packed at times... More

Tried to find somewhere to sit on an earlier visit but the place was packed! Resolved to return and try the place and mid morning on a Sunday found us back in Kenmare and able to find a quiet spot inside. Very good breakfast menu and opted for a toasted bacon sandwich while the wife opted for pancakes. Served very... More

Good fresh food but rather expensive. I was also charged for hot water! Staff friendly but rather busy. Restrooms upstairs were a bit dirty.

We stopped at Jam for a quick lunch one afternoon in Kenmare and were not disappointed. While it was very crowded, and the fast-food style line a bit disconcerting, the quality of the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had ham and cheese quiche (superb), tea, a cupcake, and a baked potato. Everything was very... More

A blustery, rainy day and we were looking for a place to hang our hats, dry off and grab a bite. Jam fit the bill quite nicely. Clearly packed because of the weather, we waited a few for a table, but hot long. Soups hearty and tasty. Hot Chocolate!!! Would recommend.

We popped in for lunch on our trip around the Ring of Beara. The baked potato was tasty while the freshly made chicken and salad sandwich was good. But to top things off, the Victoria sponge and bread and butter pudding was scrumptious!! Two good mugs of coffee washed this treat down. A welcome break on a very enjoyable day.... More

Visited Jam recently and last year. The service is unfailingly friendly, and the food is excellent. We've had breakfast and lunch here, and were never disappointed. It's a busy place, but the staff seem accustomed to it, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Takeaway stuff is great, too -- if you're self-catering, they have pastas, curries, cottage pies,... I have not had a meal in this restaurant but the takeway breads and scones are delicious. The Brown bread with fruit and seeds is moist and full of flavour.
