We went to Mulcahy's on a Sunday night in September. We walked there from the hotel and immediately sat down. Our waitress was incredibly nice and came right over to ask for our drink orders, then helped us with menu recommendations when we asked. The mushroom risotto appetizer was amazing! Probably our favorite bite of food in the entire trip.... More

I was a little bit disappointed with Mulcahy’s, it looks great both inside and out, warm and inviting but fell a little short on the menu choice and service. Myself and husband and 2 year old arrived without a reservation, to be fair they said they could give us a table but we would need to be gone within the... More

We recently stayed one week in Kenmare and tried all the major, high quality restaurants. Mulcahy's ended up being tied with two other restaurants for our favorite dinners in Kenmare. The lemon curd dessert I ordered was among the favorite desserts of my lifetime. It is absolutely a MUST for anyone who enjoys lemon desserts. I am still thinking of... More

This was the best meal I had in Ireland... Everything was very tasty and creatively done. Service was excellent, and interior was nice. only fly in the ointment when I was there was large groups, which are invariably noisy (and who knew young Irish women cursed like sailors......)

This was a very nice restaurant with plenty of room. The food was a treat. I had the scallop dish which was really tasty and my wife had a melt in the mouth fillet steak.

Before reviewing the restaurant, beware that this restaurant is no longer on Henry St and hasn't been for some time. It has moved to Main St and their old premises are now a branch of Fat Face! I don't think we were the first people to end up there looking confused! Enjoyed a lovely dinner, very well-prepared food, nicely presented.... More

Absolutely great meal at mulcahys. The food was superb, real quality. Great menu with lots of choices, nice set of daily specials on offer. Starts were superb and were topped by amazing main course. The only reason I did not give it 5star review is they seemed to be short 1/2 wait staff, we were waiting 10mins to be seated... More
