We recently visted Mulcahy's in Kenmare and couldn't resist but to go twice in one day, lunch and dinner. Both meals were an absolute treat. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, warm and stylish - flawlessly matched with the friendly and welcoming hostesses. The dishes are a delight for all the senses, beautifully plated, intensely tasty and wildly creative. Twice... More

After a glorious day traveling the Ring of Kerry we ended our journey at Mulcahy's. We were met with warmth and invited to join in great cuisine in the Irish countryside. The lamb was perfectly prepared and the fish pie was savory and delicious. The sides, snap peas, ginger puréed carrots and potato croquettes were perfectly prepared. The apple tart,... More

We ate in another restaurant but decided to wander around and find another place to have dessert. We found this restaurant, I was just sorry we didn't have dinner here. The ambience, decor and general feeling of luxury is very inviting. We ordered dessert and a bottle of wine. The waitress was so helpful and she knew about the menu... More

Does seafood just taste better in Ireland? That's the conclusion we came to after a delicious dinner at Mulcahy's. Couldn't have been tastier and the staff were warm and wonderful.

We had a very tasty meal at this restaurant. The fish was fresh as could be. The Tarte Tartin desert for 2 may be a command performance at the end of the meal (assuming you still have room). You will not be disappointed. The price point for this restaurant is high. A couple of items that the proprietors might care... More

I ate here tonight with my husband and two young kids. The restaurant is beautiful and the meal was fabulous. Amazing food. Really lovely staff and so family friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Mulcahy's. We ordered the organic chicken and scallops and both were delicious (and a nice change from heavier food). Chicken tenders were prepared for our children even though they were not on the menu. Atmosphere was sophisticated casual. Highly recommend if visiting Kenmare.

Had coffee and a drink Friday evening and staff were very welcoming even though they were busy getting ready for a full house. They had no problem with us having just the drinks. Wish we could have stayed for dinner but will return some time. Beautiful restaurant that looked very well and romantic.

Thank baltovin
