The food in this restaurant is excellent. We had Risotto, prawn and lobster sausage, steak, and chocolate fondant accompanied by a beautiful bottle of spanish tempranillo house wine. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. I would suggest booking ahead as this is a busy restaurant with quality food . I am looking forward to returning here.

OMG what an amazing experience, from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely amazing. Our visit was for a family dinner to celebrate a birthday. I have to say it was a top class meal, none of us could fault it, we thoroughly enjoyed it, I recommend the scampi and the beef wellington, the service was 5 star. We will... More

We were at Mulcahy's Restaurant recently. I can honestly say that I have never tasted food so delicious in a long time. There is a lovely choice of food to suit all tastes buds. The staff were very friendly and most helpful to explain the dishes especially when it came to the Daily specials. We were in Kenmare to celebrate... More

We've been in Ireland for almost a month and had many meals in pubs and other restaurants. This was the best meal we've had thus far. It started with a feta cheese amuse bouche...tasty. My husband had the mushroom risotto which he loved and I had the asparagus with a hens egg, little cones of prosciutto and a hollaondaise sauce.... More

We were overwhelmed with how great the food was. The presentation and the blending of flavors was excellent. The lamb and the salmon were really good. We sat at the bar (not a pub atmosphere) and enjoyed the quiet ambience.

We went to Mulcahy's on a Sunday night in September. We walked there from the hotel and immediately sat down. Our waitress was incredibly nice and came right over to ask for our drink orders, then helped us with menu recommendations when we asked. The mushroom risotto appetizer was amazing! Probably our favorite bite of food in the entire trip.... More
