We went to this restaurant with some friends for their early bird menu. At first sight it looks like a quaint pub or an old Irish cottage, but don't let this deceive you - the food is like the one you could have at a top class restaurant in a cosmopolitan city. The early bird is excellent value, but I... More

This has been the best food I've had in a very long time! Totally delicious - so many flavours and textures on each plate. There was a group of four of us and I think we cleared the plates of each of our courses. Two of us had lamb which was melt in the mouth and the other two had... More

Tucked away in a side street of a small town on the west coast of Ireland, the Milesian certainly is a hidden gem. We got there early on a cold blistery October night where the sight of an open fire warmed out hearts immediately. The setting is unusual. A traditional old Irish cottage would seem to lend itself more to... More

The Milesian was recommended to me by a friend who described it as "incredible food in a really cosy environment". We decided to book a table for the early bird menu (5-6.30) with friends of ours who are also very interested in food. We arrived in out of the rain to be welcomed by a lovely fire and a really... Went to this restaurant with friends for a special occasion.Let us just say it was the worst experience I have ever had.The quality and presentation of the food was terrible and overpriced. The front of house staff were pleasant but needed training.Pisces should show management his it is done.

We stopped for lunch at the cafe section. There was a list of sandwiches with amazing filings, sun dried tomatoes, avocado, caramelised onion, Gorgonzola. With this in mind I ordered the veggie wrap. What I received was what I'd expect if I had asked a meat loving pub owner for a veggie dish in the 1980s. Lettuce, tomato, raw onion... More

We saw this restaurant advertised in Dingle offering a delicatessan, herb garden and exquisite food and made a special trip over for lunch. What a disappointment... No delicatessen, and I have seen bigger window boxes than the herb garden. However we were most disturbed by the fact that food was been prepared by a lady wearing a pink anorak and... More

My husband and myself loved every aspect of our visit to this restaurant. But we are perplexed by its title which to us means a city in S.E Asia!! Yet it is Old Ireland of the 1940's - '50's that hits you with nostalgia and sentimentality the moment you enter. We were seated up "in the loft" and could look... More
