Beautiful sunny winter weather just begged for lunch by the harbour whilst showing an interstate friend the best Sydney. Being based north of the Bridge, I chose Sails for our impromptu treat. You can literally see the water lapping outside the large windows. Impecable service...now that is a true treat in Sydney and beautiful food. Pricey but flawless.

The restaurant is modern and suggested an elegant setting. If aesthetics are important to you as tastiness, this definitely is the place for you. We certainly felt relaxed with the tranquil picturesque views and excited about the upcoming gourmet dishes. It was a nice space to unwind. One thing that really impressed me was the presentation of the dishes. I... More

Each plate of our eight course degustation was lovely in presentation and flavour. Hard to pick a favourite but the goats cheese curd would have to be up there. The marched wines nicely complimented each course and have been selected with care. The location of this place is amazing - right on the waterfront with views across to the harbour... More

All ASPECTS... food , service , the view , the flavours , the seating , the comfort of chairs = A Gem. We went just before the renovations of the wharf, which , would be a major consideration , if booking for that special occasion .

We were given this as a gift , had not been to Sails for 30 years. It was exceptional, from the moment we arrived, till the gift on leaving, the service was amazing and the food just could not be faulted, nor the selection of wines that accompanied the courses. On top of that a view that is a world... More

Went with friends recently for dinner. Lets cut to the chase, a great ambiance, great location, great service and great food. 10/10. If you are looking for a restaurant out of the Sydney CBD with views back across the harbour to the city and want something special.... this is must go to.
