We came quite early and set the scene to celebrate family visit from overseas. As always, I will comment on setting, food and service. This restaurant is situated in the busy part of North Sydney and is very convenient when it's so close to the train station. Street parking is available if you're willing to pay or willing to walk... I have finally found a Yum Cha restaurant up to the standard of "Me Wah" , in Sandy Bay, Tasmania. The yum cha is delivered to the table by the trolley servive. The wait staff are good at their job and are a plus to the dining experience. Gentle persuasion from them to tempt you to try some more and... More

Many had written about the dim sim "yum cha" lunch here, it is still one of the few good ones in the North Shore In the last 20+ years, this restaurant had undergone a few changes in ownership and even introduced northern chinese cuisines. During the cold winter months, they are offering "steam boats" dinner now, the place is packed... More

Thought we might venture away from usual city or Chatswood haunts and try N Syd. Was only quarter full and not many asian customers never a good indication for yumcha but took a window seat anyway. Service started slow with limited selection but ramped up as people started streaming in. Quality was superb and good variety too abiut 90% full... More

We visited this restaurant for Yum Cha on a Sunday. Large restaurant, good variety of dim sum. Our favourites were the pork buns and the coconut jelly. One of our friends loved the chicken feet. You need to spend a few hours here to see the variety of food they offer. After we had our sweets the honey prawns and... More

There wasn't as much variety when compared to other yum cha restaurants. However, what was available was good. There were a couple dishes that had been left out on the trolley a little longer than usual and were cold by the time they came around to us; otherwise everything else was fine. The service was great, staff were very friendly... More

The place is clean even though the renovation is a bit outdated. Good quality setting from the table cloth up. Food is not spectacular but comforting. Not sure why there are so little number of staffs because they could need some help. Their staffs are great but cant imagine they want to stay with so much work. Hope the owners... More

Been here for dinner as well as yum cha lunch. On both occasions, the food was delicious. The chef cooks typical Cantonese fare and it is fresh and authentic. Yum Cha is also better than average - the trolleys come out regularly and the ladies do a good job of introducing the dishes and serving them. Service is prompt, efficient... More

Eat here regularly for the Yum Cha (haven't been at night). Can book which helps, food is on trolleys, good staff and management are on the case and visible. We always enjoy eating here - costs around $70 for 2 people without drinks. No rush to leave so can linger over meal. And the restaurant is always busy which is... More

Look this is yum Cha in north Sydney. Seafood is amazing. It's not traditional. It's not cheap. What it is - is a classy north shore yum cha. Enjoy
