We went for a works lunch and none were disappointed. There was plenty of choice on the menu to suit all budgets. Two people had the soup and sandwich meal deal, two had the fish and chips one had the burger and one had the vegetarian main meal choice. The fish was enormous, both partakers commenting on the lovely taste... More

Booked a work Christmas lunch here. Staff were wonderful. Plenty of choice for food. Food was served quickly and was very good when it arrived. Really nice atmosphere! I would recommend for all occasions. Have been told I would need to book for a weekend Sunday lunch (which wasn't an issue for mid week-although we booked anyway! Brilliant lunch. Thank... More

Dropped in for some food on way to Bury St Edmunds The venue is smart and clean. It had a contemporary design The food range was varied and different which was good. There was a range of Specials. Only issue was they weren't able to amend my preferred option The meal I had was fine. Reasonably sized portions Service was... More

We stopped here on spec for a simple lunch on a Saturday. The food was excellent with lovely attention to detail...butter on a burger bun, quality linen napkins, heavy cutlery, food on warmed plates, home made mayo, comfortable seats, in short, what every pub or restaurant should provide but so many don't...and amazingly good value. I would recommend it for a... More

We visited here for a meal with our son. Booking was easy and on arrival the staff were pleasant and friendly. We started with some of the restaurants homemade breads and tapenade, served in a quirky brown paper bag. This was delicious. We then proceeded to starters which were huge in size and overall tasty. We enjoyed the main courses... More

There are plenty of nice, quaint, elegant and friendly pubs in the British countryside, many of which serve outstanding food in comfort. The Cadogan is among those, but it serves truly good food from an extensive menu in a large, bright and comfortable environment. If in the area I would recommend a visit. If staying in the area, accommodation is... More

Wonderful staff, wonderful food, lovely surroundings...is there more to add?Actually yes because the beer was fantastic as well (Brewshed Pale Ale). This is the best place I've been in Bury/West Suffolk for Sunday dinner - superb beef, flavourful pork, and the only difficult thing is chosing from the options from the rest of the menu. The real stars are the... More

Description
On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever possible, we source it locally. We are delighted to have been awarded an AA rosette for our food. Our breakfast menu includes Newmarket sausages, Suffolk bacon, our own hen’s eggs and smoked salmon from the smokery at our sister pub. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast – bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your week.
