Great menu, food was absolutely beautiful. Pub was nice and cosy and dog friendly - can’t ask for more! Lovely place for dinner and if I’m in the area again, will definitely be back! Staff were also very friendly and welcoming and they’re operating in...a very Covid safe way!!More

My Daughter & Son in Law & I throughly enjoyed our delicious Sunday lunch at The Goat last Sunday and were looked after so well by Dion and his staff, as always ! and the food was absolutely delicious, again , as always !! Unfortunately...my wife could not be with us due to a very bad fall in Criccieth last Saturday not long after we arrived there from Kent and London , she is currently receiving great care in Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor . Thank you Dion for all your kind words and for excellent service from you and all your staff also for the lovely food - compliments to the chef. Kind regards to you all . Hugh Weaver . We visited on our last night of our holiday and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent! Big, tasty portions that were extremely well priced served to us by friendly, professional staff. Thank you for an excellent evening, we would definitely make it...a regular visit if we were local. Also, good luck to the ambitious landlord, you deserve all the luck in the world and should be proud of your achievements. James and CatherineMore

With so many places closed, we found the Goat Inn open and operating well under Covid-19 restrictions. An interesting menu, good service by a lively staff, and a good night out.

Had a family meal, good range of food, needed to book as was busy. Last time we were in the pub side and it was lovely, this time we were in the extension, lacked character, felt a bit village hall. The food was hot and...pleasently presented. Shower curtains used to separate tables to be covid safe. Would go again, would ask to be in pub side next time.More

You need to book if you want a table. We sat outside because the weather was nice. I had the beef pie, really tasty and succulent. Husband had steak which he says was cooked perfectly. My starter was chicken goujons with bbq sauce, very tender....Husband had prawn cocktail and loved it. Portion sizes were good. Staff friendly. Lovely garden. Would definitely recommend this pub. Menu is good. My kind of place.More

Several members of our family have come here many times over the last 20 years, but this year was my mum's first experience of eating out since Covid. We could not have felt more safe, as really good precautions were in place - in fact...we ate here 4 times during our week's stay at a cottage 2 miles away. Such a lovely atmosphere, Dion and his team always make us feel so welcome. The food is excellent, the service is great - what more could you ask. We'll be back next year as always. Thanks Dion!More

What a great find! Cosy pub with great safety precautions in place, outstanding food (would recommend the Beef & Guinness Pie) and choice of drinks, especially gins! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we felt safe throughout. Would absolutely recommend coming here!

We was staying at the lovely Bron Rhiw Guest House in Criccieth and the very helpful couple who run it Andy & Tina Croot suggested for our evening try The Goat Inn only a short drive from our accommodation. We managed to book a table...as this is now the norm in these strange times. We were a party of 4 and felt very safe and all our meals came well presented and we all enjoyed them. 2 of us had steak which came cooked just how we like them and the other 2 in our party had the salmon which went down very well. Thank you The Goat Inn.More
