From the lunch menu I ordered the Thai Red Curry Chicken w/ steamed rice, cucumber and way too many chunks of green pepper. The dish's heat symbol was a single pepper which was super mild (read Americanized). If you want more curry flavor ask for...medium hot. It comes with an egg roll (pork I think). The Thai iced tea was average but the least expensive I have had in years. The plus was a good price for a large portion for a Lunch. My two friends felt the same about their meals. If you want Asian food and are between Richmond and Charlottesville, it's ok. Would return.More

My wife and I have been going to Made in Asia ever since it opened. We have especially liked the great lunch deal they have. Things have changed - unfortunately, for the worse. We went for lunch 2 weeks ago. I ordered my usual Sesame...Chicken with a spring roll, and my wife ordered the Orange Chicken. She did receive Orange Chicken, though it was a bit over done. Nonetheless it was Orange Chicken. I have no idea what the concoction was that I got. To MIA's credit, whoever prepared it did sprinkle sesame seeds on it. In addition, we did not receive the cucumber salad that precedes every meal, and instead of spring rolls, we got overcooked egg rolls. We have been patrons for so long that I will give MIA another shot... but that will be it.More

First time I had lunch here was just this month. Usually it's dinner but this was for a meeting. Food was good. Service was good. What else do you need to know? A good little restaurant worth patronage.

We stopped for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised! I know crab rangoon is not authentic, and I don't care. What they served here was crispy and filled with crab-goodness. The soup that came with lunch was good -- we had both the egg drop...and the wanton. The drunken noodles, pad see ew, and garlic shrimp were all good. Our two complaints were that the dishes were oxersauced, which muddled some other flavors, and that they need a bit more vegetable -- I want more broccoli in the pad see ew.More

My partner and I are locals, and this is a spot we often order takeout from. The food is really yummy, and the prices are always reasonable. We usually end up having leftovers because the portions are so large (a compliment, not a complaint). Our...personal favorites are the Chicken Pad Thai and General Tso's Chicken.More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. We each ordered from the lunch menu. The portions are smaller than dinner entrees. I ordered Chicken and vegetables with white rice. He wanted Pepper Steak with fried rice. Both came with an egg roll. Everything was...hot and tasty. The bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Total bill with food and drinks plus tip was $22. It is an easy find, right off I-64 in Virginia in The Shoppes at Spring Creek.More

Went on recommendation of local hotel staff, but were somewhat disappointed. Our waitstaff was sweet and friendly, but was difficult to understand which caused a bit of a situation with food orders. My Orange Chicken was superb, but both of my companions were disappointed with...their meals (Pad Thai) - apparently they cook with fish oil which must be an acquired taste. Full bar.More

We were just looking for a place to eat when we spotted this restaurant in a strip mall. Decided to give it a try. Wow! Everything we ordered was delicious. I wish we lived closer because we would definitely become regulars.

"Henry" brought our meals just as we ordered them. I had Mongolian beef without onions. My husband had a noodle dish with beef. Neither of us could eat the beef - too gristly and too fatty. When asked how it was, we told Henry to...tell the chef that the beef was inedible. I was not offered another meal or a discount/refund. We paid for the meals and left the usual tip - it was not Henry's fault that we had such a terrible experience. Something seems to have changesd since our last visit. I think this was our last visit to Made In Asia. Sayonara.More

This was a surprising find on this trip to the Charlottesville area. We like Chinese food, and this is not your everyday takeout place. They have a wide variety of choices, with very fresh ingredients. It is a bit higher priced than usual Chinese strip...mall locations, but well worth the difference.More

Ordered take out. Meal was ready and it was still warm. However, the rice was undercooked and the basil was tough and dry. The entire meal looked as if it had been thrown together in a hurry.

Three of us sisters had dinner at Made in Asia -- have not eaten there before. Sister 1 ordered Pad Thai deemed very good; Sister 2 ordered walnut chicken, deemed too much breading on the chicken; I, Sister 3, ordered Seafood Curry with Coconut Milk,...deemed best I ever tasted! If I lived near Zion Crossroads, I would eat there at least once a week!More

I recently tried Made in Asia and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Orange Chicken, which was very tasty and made with quality white meat. My friends also expressed satisfaction with their entrees. I got take-out and therefore cannot comment on the service. Due to...this solid first experience, I plan to return and try more dishes!More
