Delicious coffee & cake at a very reasonable price. What makes this 5 star is the outstanding customer service. The owner was an absolute gent 😀

Amazing breakfast, I've not found anyone that could make fried bread like my Dad's but this place can, high praise, amazing! Good price too, The man serving us could have been a bit more welcoming to us like he was to the people that had obviously booked his rooms. I'll be back here for the fried bread alone if I'm... Great service and food cooked to perfection, having been asked how we liked it. I think this place has been here a while and it hasn't changed

Lovely clean cafe near the Railway Station in Matlock Bath. This was our first visit and called in early for breakfast to start our day. Friendly waitress bought us drinks and took our order. The food was lovely and well presented when it arrived. The only downside was that we had waited for over 40 minutes for 3 breakfast and... More

Waited quite a while for food, but it was well worth waiting for and it just proved how much care was taken in the preparation. We both had a Sunday Roast. It was hot and well cooked. Plenty of lovely vegetables. The gentleman serving us was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely go there again.

Overpriced tasteless food (not worthy of the good location). Owner wears a long sleeve shirt outside of his trousers (classless).

Went here for breakfast. Have to say the owner has manners that leave a lot to be desired. Food not that good although freshly cooked. Won't go back in a hurry!

Of course we all go to Matlock Bath for the Blackpool-in-the-Peaks thing, but when you've had enough of the tat shops and ice-cream, I'd say pop along here for a classy cuppa on a table that is not made of plastic. Very helpful owner, and a comfy sofa with colouring books under the table for the kids - ahhhh, bliss!
