I dined here on Thursday 4th February with a friend of mine. Both of us have been many times and it never fails to please us. We were sat in the corner of the restaurant, with plenty of space and made to feel very welcome. We had a few poppadoms to start, then for mains, My friend had a chicken... read more

Hi Thea - Megra, Thank you for giving feedback for Maazi and we really appreciate it which would help us in improving the quality of the restaurant and giving better service. We do apology for the dessert menu not available at the moment which lead to your disappointment. I would say all our desserts apart from ice cream are freshly... More

We have been before and it was much better. Tonight it was poor. We just had mains and some house wine and it was very expensive. The food was the smallest portion we'd had in an Indian restaurant. The pleasant surroundings and politeness of staff were let down by the food. We won't be returning again. When I mentioned our... More

Went here for my sons birthday. After reading the reviews on here I booked a table as I expected it to be packed! It was a Saturday night and we were the only ones in there for quite sometime.Onion Bhaji starter came in a sizzling pan but the bhaji was luke warm and the size of a golf ball, the... More

Hi Patricia, Thank you for giving feedback to Maazi. I have read this review several times and I cannot see how it can contradict everything to the other review from our customers. Firstly, our restaurant usually is very busy during weekend, and customers normally book in advance to ensure their table (this one can be examined due to lots of... More

We've been coming to Maazi for a while now, and having tried others in the area it is definitely the best of them all. The food is high quality and always tastes incredible. Good portions too, we never leave hungry. It has wonderful ambiance and it is clear that the owner puts a lot of care and attention into his... More

Normally I find Indian restaurants a little underwhelming, and sometimes the setting looks far nicer than the run of the mill food that comes out. In this case both match. The restaurant is set lovely and the food was delicious. We encountered a slight chicken issue (hence the 4 stars not 5) with the starters but the staff were prompt... More

I visited this restaurant during October 2015 in a group of eight. The restaurant was very busy but luckily we had prebooked a table. We were all very happy with the service and the food was excellent. To finish off the evening we were given a lift to where we were staying in the restaurant's mini bus!

Visited on New Years Eve. Set two course menu. Food excellent. Atmosphere great with live traditional Indian music. Staff very friendly. Interior more spacious than most indian restaurants. Great night, very authentic.

Food was excellent, service could have been more attentive. They forgot some orders. Overall a good experience and not too expensive.

We went to Maazi as a family, my partner and myself, our 2 children (5 & 6) and a friend. The restaurant itself was lovely, set out well, lovely atmosphere, the staff were very friendly. we ordered our meal thinking there would be enough, we ordered lots of sides and extras to keep the kids happy. The rice dishes had... More

Haven't been to an Indian restaurant for a long time but after visiting Maazi I could quite happily visit it every week. Beautifully laid out restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Our waiter talked us through all the specials and through any dishes we were unsure of. The food was really nice, best curry I've... More
