We ate here for Sunday noon. We both chose the sweet potato carrot soup and the sea bass entree. Our meals were delicious and the service was excellent. Probably a good idea to make a reservation. We had been here several years ago and we were not disappointed on our second visit.

Our first time at Piedaniels ( Merciful Daniel is one translation, pronounced as in Pie Jesu ) however don't be expecting pies on the menu. As it was a Friday, the Table d'hote menu was available as was the a la Carte, however be warned, on Saturday there is only the a la Carte menu available. The table d'hote was very... More

This is a restaurant to choose when you want to upgrade to something more special than the norm - where there are proper linen napkins and you can be sure of good food. As well as an A la Carte menu, during the week there's a Table D'hote one, which we chose at a cost of around £65 for two... More

Fully lived up to our expectations. Except for Saturday evenings, you can order from the lunch menu which is VERY competitively priced and by no means inferior quality. Difficult to understand some comments from reviewers who seem to be shocked when they get the bill for food and drinks that THEY have ordered. A main course of this quality from... More

We visited on Saturday evening, we were made very welcome. We started with Garlic Bread to share which was sufficient for both of us. For our mains we both had a pasta dish which was delicious. We followed that with an ice-cream sundae. Coffee was served after we had diluted our food. Service was 100%, quality was also 100% and... More

Had a fabulous lunch from the table d'hote menu - 4 choices of starter, main and pud and could have had any of the choices - washed down with the Loic Raison French cider. Excellent service and lovely surroundings. Thoroughly recommend Piedaniels.

From the warmth encountered as soon as we opened the door to the goodbyes when we left this lunch was a great experience. We enjoyed our pre-lunch drink and menu search whilst seated in comfort by the reception before being escorted to our table where we enjoyed an excellent combination of high quality food, wine, and service. The restaurant was... More
