Lovely restaurant to spend a date night with the hubby or with friends. On this occasion we brought all the family to celebrate a special birthday. Great service and delicious food!

We took visiting friends here as it's one of our favourite local restaurants and, as ever, it was excellent! We've been quite a few times and never, ever, been disappointed! The food and service are excellent and it's very reasonably priced for the quality and standard of food and service! All the dishes we, and our friends, have tasted over... More

We were invited out for lunch by our daughter who had dined here before. This was my first visit and throughout I was very impressed by the appearance of the restaurant and by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The lunchtime menu and drinks list were extensive and I was not disappointed by the choices I made: beautifully cooked... More

Dined here many times, Lunch and Dinner. Always great food and service. The three course menu beats all the Pubs and other restaurants in Bakewell, hands down! Don't try the rest, this is the best.

You approach an unimpressive entrance but once inside find a comfortable seating area and bar and the restaurant opens before you - in a lovely room with high beams, plenty of light and open doors into a small garden (it was a hot evening when we visited) Gorgeous cold cucumber soup with salmon quenelles and quail eggs - delicious on... We were here on holiday and stumbled across this restaurant by chance. It is a tastefully decorated restaurant with attentive service and very good cuisine at a reasonable price. We were there on a hot night and the door to a lovely garden was open, allowing some diners to have coffee outside as well. Warmly recommended.

This man does sauces to die for. 3 course lunch represents fantastic value with portions that are just enough to get 3 courses in. Also this menu operates on Tues/Wed/Thurs nights.

Had a lovely dinner here with the family. Food was amazing at what we though were resonable prices. Service was great and a lovely atmosphere.

We visited mid week with family. Food was superb, generous portions and the service was discrete but attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and relaxing. Good value for money and a very good range of different dishes. We would return.

We visited Bakewell with friends especially to see the Well Dressings. Having been to Piedaniels a few years ago we rang beforehand and booked a table for lunch. We arrived soaked through on the rainiest of days. We were made so welcome and staff quickly took our wet clothes and umbrellas to dry. Sat in the small comfortable lounge area... More
