A beautiful location to come for a special occasion. Lovely area to sit and have a drink whilst selecting from the menu. Dining area attractive and the food was good quality and plentiful . Our bottle of wine from an extensive list was excellent and good value. We always enjoy going to Hassop Hall and are made to feel welcome.... More

I have rated Hassop Halls restaurant as very good primarily due to its lovely location, excellent service and old world charm but only as average would be harsh and tripadvisor doesn't have a 'good' rating. We went for Sunday lunch for my parent's anniversary and had to book 3 months ahead to get in as its that popular. It costs... More

We had a voucher bought for us for a Friday dinner which we recently took. The bar area is snug and welcoming - especially for a cool autumn evening - and drinks are well priced. The menu itself is very traditional and you will find no fusion / modern twists etc. Whether or not this is a bad thing is... More

We've been going to Hassop Hall roughly once a year for the past twenty or so years and it remains our favourite haunt for birthdays and the like. It hasn't changed one jot in all that time and many of the staff are long-standing members of the team. The menu itself is worthy of comment. Don't let the fact that... More

I went with friends for midweek lunch and can't praise this place highly enough. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was faultless. Will definitely return.

I went with friends as I have done for the last few years for my birthday. It has never disappointed. The service is friendly welcoming but full sliver service. The range of food means there is something for everyone. We all enjoyed what we had and the choice of puddings makes it so hard to choose but they are all... More

We had an overnight stay at Hassop Hall with the purpose of having dinner at the hotel. We had heard glowing reports from locals who were regular diners but had never stayed there. The staff in the restaurant were attentive, friendly and discrete and we never felt hurried. The restaurant certainly had the wow factor with white tablecloths, fresh flowers and candle lighting. The menu was... We ate here in.this elegant restaurant with its starched white linen, candles and friendly service. We both had potted shrimps followed by the rack of lamb. There's an extensive wine list which for a hotel the prices were reasonable. All in all a pleasant meal.
