Called in about 2.30 pm. It was quiet. Met with friendly greeting. I chose mushroom & cashew slice with vegetables. What turned up was a microwaved pastry slice containing mushroom & cashew. The pastry was thus soggy and horrible. The vegetables were plain and bland....More

My husband called in here one Sunday for a lite bite. The place was busy but we managed to get a table and I thought it had quite a nice ‘feel’ to the place, although the wooden table needed a good clean as it felt...More

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit. We do not open on Sunday but as it was the motor fest thought we would open as a one off for a couple of hours. As an independent business we cannot afford to pay for staff...More

As we are an independent town centre business our prices reflect that. Can’t compete with the franchises on that front, as for the elderly lady, we don’t have anyone elderly working here ???

We were in Chesterfield and looking for somewhere to grab a sandwich and a drink. This was a lovely place that I would definitely go back to. Neither of us are vegetarian but we thoroughly enjoyed our yummy sandwiches.

Thanks for your kind review, we can’t compete with the big franchises so glad you appreciate that fact and enjoy visiting us anyway, that’s the only way the independent businesses survive xx

The Vicar Lane & Soresby Street car parks are probably equal distance away. About a 5 minute or less walk from either.
