We visited this English Pub with friends last week and we weren't exactly blown away by this visit. It was a nightmare experience from the food that was served to the lack of service and the only highlights of our visit was that the cricket was on and a slightly eccentric local ( ex military perhaps) was entertaining. Make up your... More

Went here recently one Saturday lunchtime. Should have smelt a rat when the signs outside the pub said "please come in to see menu". We were treated with a menu of typical pub grub (typical that is of pubs about 30 years ago)- pies, fish and chips, ham egg and chips, hunters chicken etc. We were hungry and had a... More

We visited this pub on a Friday evening. And the food was just terrible and badly cooked. And There was some customers at the bar and some of the customers were already worse for wear at such an early hour. Not long after arrival the language from some of the customers and the bartender was very disrespectful. The bar staff... More

I ordered a jacket potato , when it came half the potato was not cooked so sent it back. Had to wait ages for replacement, my partner had finished his meal when my second lot of food arrived. This time the potato was totally uncooked, plus the filling was non- excitant and the salad had shrunk too. How difficult is... More

Food was diabolical, I actually told the waiter that there was more fish in a fish finger than I had in my piece of fish. Dirty glasses and sticky tables too. It can't be that difficult to cook fish and chips but it was beyond this place. Never will we return and don't recommend anyone does.

You know when you walk into a pub and you immediately get the feeling that you're not welcome? Well that's the feeling we got as soon as we walked into this pub. Not just by the patrons but also by the staff. It's as if they don't want anyone but locals in their pub. Anyway we walked straight out...never to... More

We popped in for a drink after a lovely walk throught Corsham Park. It was a sunny evening so we went to the bar and got our drinks and went to sit outside on the paved area outside the pub. The bad language that was coming out on raised voices from the two men and barman inside was just too... More

An earlier review by AJH59 says it all. Stopped in Corsham for a pleasant bite to eat en route to a weekend away. Not impressed, food was from freezer not home made. Avoid.
