I have been in here with friends. The ambience is always welcoming. Dogs are allowed in this building, there is also a garden, which is great in the summer sun. The roast dinner is fine, but a little on the pricey side, compared to other places I've visited, there are not enough vegetables, the portion size was small. They often have... More

We visit the Neston at least once a week either for drinks or food. Us and the kids are always welcomed and enjoy friendly chat with the owners. Good food and great value for money. In the winter it is lovely sat by the fire and in the summer great sat in the garden with the kids playing.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, with their specialty pudding "Sicilian mess" made with Limoncello. Scrummy! A nice, welcoming pub in the countryside!

A lovely Sunday lunch was provided for 24 walkers- we had pre-booked and it all went like clockwork. We were made very welcome, the food was great, home cooked and plentiful and a good range to choose from. Puddings were lovely too. Dezi and Tony made us so welcome and all the walkers said what a great Pub to have... More

We visited the Neston Inn twice. Once for lunch, the second time just for evening drinks. The owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating and made us feel as if part of the community. The food is not too expensive and tasty (we both had burgers). There is just a lovely feel about this place. We definitely recommend a visit.

A large group of us met here recently to celebrate a birthday. It's a cozy, friendly place and there's always a warm welcome awaiting even the casual visitor. We were looked after very well by the hosts and their team. Everyone remarked on just how good the food was - excellent in fact, and plentiful as well. Beer is Cask... More

Part of a 17 person group who went to the Neston for Sunday lunch after a Christening in the village. Food was lovely, very well cooked. Meat was perfect and fresh vegetables. All clearly home cooked. Very friendly service, made it an extremely enjoyable meal.

I've been here a few times with friends. The roast lunch is decent enough, but a little expensive. I don't feel they do enough choice of vegetables. Generally, people are friendly and dogs are brought in for pet lovers. The owners are pleasant and accommodating. There is a nice garden at the back. It has a quaint, country feel to... More

Although staying close by we visited for a meal and the starter of Salt and Pepper Squid was fantastic, service was in a small area away from the bar but the service was very good. On top of that the Cask beer was excellent

Visited mid week. The couple that run the inn were very welcoming. Menu is reasonably priced with good choice of pub food. Nice local feel, with regulars at the bar.

Description
The Neston Country Inn is one of those rare and wonderful finds: a traditional village pub with a cosy bar, great rustic food and comfy rooms. Privately owned and run by Desrae and Tony Procos and dating back to the early 1800s the inn is tucked away close to the city of Bath and the M4 motorway.
