I took my elderly parents there for lunch today. From the moment I booked a ground floor table until the moment we left I could not fault the staff the food or the atmosphere. Mum and I had a Queen Victoria afternoon tea which was excellent with all freshly prepared food. My dad and husband had meals from the menu... More

Me and my husband decided to go to Bradford on Avon for breakfast and stumbled across this beautiful building and decided to go in. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who sat us on a table upstairs by a window. She was so chatty and welcoming and I would definitely go in to see her again!

Visited for morning coffee. Coffee was stewed and my daughter who had a hot chocolate couldn't drink the watery drink. The fruit scones were ok but 3 currants were all mine contained. The cost just over £11. Wouldn't return

We arrive towards the end of what had obviously been a busy day. There were 7 of us & 1 child so we were lucky & initially delighted to get tables. We all sat separately but we weren't to bothered. Our orders were taken fairly quickly but we waited for a long time to get our order. They had to... More

Had a very warm welcome from all the staff. The building is amazing and unusual. The Victoria tea was lovely. Sandwiches were tasty and scones lovely and warm with the jam. Will definitely be going again

Ate scones here with a friend, really nice atmosphere and the scones were delicious - they come with loads of cream and jam. A very large selection of teas also great.

If you have American friends visiting this place will blow their minds. Amazing 3 tire tea served in a very old tea room. Waitresses in Victorian costume. Lovely cakes and scones with clotted cream to die for! It's not cheap and you would be advised to book.

Went there for Afternoon Tea with friends. The location and the building itself are absolutely stunning & the staff look wonderful in their traditional clothing. However, we were seated upstairs and there was a strong smell of cooking oil from the kitchen, which we thought had been burnt as the odour was so strong it made our eyes water. The... More
