Called in for lunch at this quaint looking tea room. As the only available table downstairs was by the door, my wife went upstairs to look for somewhere more suitable. A very grumpy senior waitress then tells me there is no seating available upstairs, which was surprising as my wife found a table and fetched me. Once at the cramped... More

After a long and tiring walk, it was good to find somewhere still open at 4.30 pm on a Sunday afternoon and willing to still take people. I had the traditional scones, jam and cream - plenty of everything, and breakfast tea, and thee was plenty of it too - it was good to be served with a jug of... More

Enjoyed good food. Not over pretentious, and value for money. Unlike some places in the area that have got too big for their foams and ash! Nice cuppa tea, good prawn baguette and excellent scones. Yum!

Myself, boyfriend, my parents and in laws all went out to explore Bradford on Avon and found ourselves in the beautiful tea rooms in hopes to escape the cold wind and rain. We were upstairs and the decoration was stunning. I loved how the everything was in fitting with the era and to top it off, the waitress costumes were... More

We visited the “Bridge Tea Rooms” on Sunday 25th September and had a table upstairs. One of the waitresses spent some time chatting to us about the building's history; it was once a blacksmith's cottage and dates from 1502. The staff were very pleasant and were dressed in traditional Victorian costumes, black dresses, white bibs and bonnets. We both ordered... More

If you are looking for a typical afternoon tea here is the place, especially if you have visitors from abroad you can't go far wrong to come to Bradford-on-Avon and stop here for a break. Make sure you book in advance and arrive on time before the kitchen closes.

Lovely cream tea in this traditional quaint tea rooms. Nice touches like individual tea strainers. Gluten free scones and sandwiches available which was ideal.

We pre booked a table (which is important really if it's lunchtime as the place was rammed) and enjoyed a very tasty and well presented jacket potato each - perfect. Good service by young ladies in maids' attire. Very reasonable and good value for money. Good choice!

It is my 'go to' place when we have visitors, though no reason not to visit all the time! Very traditional and quaint inside - watch the low ceilings. Excellent choice of teas etc. and our cream tea was v.g. A lovely place to relax whilst visiting Bradford.
