Visited on a busy Sunday morning. Order taken for two filter coffees /two cappucinos.Filter coffees arrived and after 6-7 minutes mentioned to the manageress that we were still awaiting the cappuccinos. Abruptly told they only had one cappuccino machine. If that is the cause of delay for all customers it might be adviable to wait and serve all the drinks... More

Visited the tea room on Sunday 27 November. Really cold day, there were six of us, but they managed to seat us altogether and serve a delicious cream tea. Wonderful to have a proper teapot with proper tea! Really good service the waitresses work very hard running between floors. This is not fast food, but is absolutely wonderful and worth... More

Popped in for a pot of tea on quite a chilly afternoon we were seated by a warm fire and served quickly and efficiently we were very impressed so much that as we were staying in Bradford for our anniversary we reserved a table for breakfast the following day and we are glad we did as they soon got quite... Lovely old building - tiny front door. Down steps into quaint place with open fire (gas). Old style, china, white linen, beautiful array of cakes on display. Christmas cake on sideboard. Waitresses dressed in long black with white aprons. There was an upstairs area also. Beverages seemed to arrive from downstairs, and food from upstairs - very slow service, but... More

True English style high tea. It was an absolute treat to spend this with my immediate family. We had a good range of old and young and every single person enjoyed themselves immensely. The tearoom is based in a building dated back to 1502, and it is simply lovely. "Judged as ‘near perfect’ and awarded The UK’s Top Tea Place... More

We popped in here one Sunday afternoon after visiting the nearby local museum. The tea rooms are located just over the bridge on the south side of the river. We managed to get a table for two without prior booking although the place was quite full. Service was a little slow, but this was understandable given the amount of customers.... More

We went into the Bridge Tea Rooms to pass half an hour as we had arrived at a shop which had not opened yet. Have passed many times, but never gone in. It is a very traditional old fashioned tea room. Tablecloths, fireplaces, and the staff dressed in old fashioned black waitress outfits, with white aprons. There is a very... More

We went to the tea rooms, really excited to finally go after it being recommend to us. However, the experience was completely ruined by the "manager". We were asked for our order by a polite waitress (who we assumed was new at the job)but we were not ready so she said she'd come back. The "manager" then to another waitress... More

The Bridge tea rooms are a must visit if you go to Bradford-on-Avon. The food is lovely and fresh and served by lovely waitresses dressed in authentic costume. They have a lovely varied menu from breakfasts to delicious afternoon teas. What a treat this is.
