I went here with friends recently for farewell drinks. We were a group of 6 and were lucky that when we arrived a family were leaving having eaten. We gladly took the seats offered to us, although the tables needed clearing. We stayed and had a couple of rounds of drinks, roughly 1 1/2 hours. We had a nice evening... More

We decided to choose from the light lunch menu. I had the ploughman which came with enough cheese for 2 and a excellent tomato relish of which I asked for more. The other meal was the "baby" haddock and chips all I can say is I would hate to meet the parents. Excellent crisp batter with a lovely tartare sauce.... More

The service we received from the welcoming staff was amazing. The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in and the food was absolutely stunning. I can highly recommend a stay in the Weymouth Arms. A huge thank you to Natalina Shane and all the staff for our stay

Had a Sunday roast here with a friend. Slightly higher prices but some good menu choices, the food quality was very good, as was the service. Highly recommended.

We chose to visit the Weymouth Arms on the strength of its Tripadvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. A lovely warm welcome, an interesting Sunday menu and voluminous and tasty roasts. We were too full for puddings but would certainly come back here. And we hadn't booked but had no trouble getting a table so it's worth dropping in.

This is an upmarket traditional inn with all you would expect in comfort and exceptional food, freshly sourced and spot on cooking. I love the Sunday lunches, usually beef or lamb. I've been for lunch with my girlfriends and the portions are perfect and well priced.

We are locals and eat here all the time. The food is absolutely fantastic and the actual pub is gorgeous too. It's all wood panelled and the garden is lovely. Beata the waitress is brilliant. It's perfect for a date night out or a weekend lunch. The children's meals are great, especially the cheesy pancakes.

This is a lovely place to eat. They are so child friendly. We live just down the road and we always book in for dinner at 6pm because we know it will be quiet. We always bring our toddler with us. They bring him out a colouring book and crayons, always speak to him and are just so friendly towards... More

We eat here a lot as a couple. The food is excellent and it has a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and really know about what's on offer and where it has come from.
