Very poor price vs quality trade off. Portions small and overcooked. Unless they up their game we will never return for food but it is great for a drink

Went to the Prince Leopold for a drink this afternoon and have to say it is a very pleasant little pub with a lovely riverside garden. I think it may have been a free house, but there is no information on the website to verify this fact. The lady that served us was charming and helpful, we felt as welcome... More

Staff friendly but inefficient. Food not good for the resturant prices being asked from us! The focciatia bread was rock hard, and the lamb (Wellington) was over cooked. Errors on the bar orders happened because the one and only bar staff was trying to sort out a hotel reservation cock up! Top marks for being dog friendly.

Stayed here whilst visiting Longleat. Very quiet location with nothing else within walking distance. Lovely peaceful location next to a stream, great for having a drink and/ or dinner outside. Staff polite, but at busy times wonder how quick service would have been. Bedroom was clean as you would hope, but bathroom was very small (about 1M X 3M) which... More

Overpriced, slow service, dishes didn't come out together. One guest waited over 5 minutes to join the others in eating. The venue far outweighs the quality of the food. Ran out of dessert, offered an alternative that came with plenty of free baking/parchment paper attached to the bottom of the dessert!

We enjoyed Sunday lunch in the garden, staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful offering garden service where possible. Interior was well thought out and pleasant but we ultimately chose the garden for the weather. We ordered two roasts and a fish dish- at £15 the Beef was tender and a good portion but would perhaps have preferred thinner... More

I had the very unpleasant experience of meeting the chef What a very horrible little man, if you dish up poor food you need to learn to deal with being told how poor it is Beautiful setting but the staff are a joke I only rated it 1* as 0 wasn't an option

We took my husbands father here for lunch on fathers day, we were very lucky and got the table near the glass doors looking out onto the river, unfortunately the weather was not good so we just stood on the veranda and watched the water flow by for a while, then we returned to get our lunch, the bar staff...
