We recently came here early Friend evening for a meal. We were staying at a local Premier Inn and their restaurant was closed and the receptionist recommended this place. We were not disappointed, lovely home cooked food, reasonably priced. We were left alone and not...More

Parked the car and went for a great short walk with fantastic footpaths, then back for excellent beer and good basic supper - couldn't ask for more. Community owned pubs are the way to go!

We have been here before and it was very good. Not this time though. Unfriendly, no atmosphere and overpriced. Not much choice. Duck was undercooked and tasteless. Disappointed and a waste of money.

Just got back from a great Pork belly Sunday lunch. This pub clearly puts a lot of pride into the food it produces, the accompanying beer was very good as well.

Yes is the simple answer. The manageress, Shelley is celiac, so very experienced in running a gluten-free kitchen. All sauces and gravies etc are available gluten-free.
