I visited here for the first time and treated my fiancé and future sister in law to and evening meal. It's a bit of a way off the main road and was worried I may have missed it but once your there you can't miss...More

We recently came here early Friend evening for a meal. We were staying at a local Premier Inn and their restaurant was closed and the receptionist recommended this place. We were not disappointed, lovely home cooked food, reasonably priced. We were left alone and not...More

Parked the car and went for a great short walk with fantastic footpaths, then back for excellent beer and good basic supper - couldn't ask for more. Community owned pubs are the way to go!
Hi Peter - thank you for your review. It's great that you enjoyed our community owned pub.
The landlord was friendly and helpful and there was a convivial atmosphere in the bar. The beer was good and we enjoyed a simple fish and chips supper which was tasty and reasonably priced. We will go again and look forward to sitting in the...More

Family supper for four. The food was tasty and the service was very accommodating. The bar staff and locals were very friendly.

We were staying at the Longleat Caravan Club site about a 10 minute drive away. We came across this pub by chance. Landlord and landlady were both very welcoming, good food menu with the added bonus of a specials board. Great food and good value....More

We have been here before and it was very good. Not this time though. Unfriendly, no atmosphere and overpriced. Not much choice. Duck was undercooked and tasteless. Disappointed and a waste of money.
Just got back from a great Pork belly Sunday lunch. This pub clearly puts a lot of pride into the food it produces, the accompanying beer was very good as well.
Thank you for your great review - we're really pleased that you enjoyed your Sunday lunch and hope to see you again soon.
