Telephoned to book a table offered 5.30, however we weren't told that the table had to be vacated by 7pm when booking. We were informed of this when we sat down and rather rudely at that. No attempt at apology, just a "guys, I need the table back by 7pm" This unfortunately spoilt the entire rather shortened evening. We would... More

After all the hype we had to try it. Whilst the food was excellent and the staff very friendly I would not recommend it for a romantic occasion especially the rear dining area which seemed very industrial and due to its layout was very noisy. Other areas of the restaurant may be better and offer a different experience so I... More

We decided to give the restaurant a go after hearing many good things about the place. It did not let us down. We had three courses one of which was a Sunday lunch- the chicken was amazing as well as them lamb my partner had! The setting inside was lovely and a cosy outside patio with heaters and tepee. I... A bit disappointed by the food as it was not what we expected. Had '' gratin'' of mushrooms to start but it was not a "gratin", it was mushroom in liquid cream sauce, but good. For the main course, below average. ''ceasar salad'', hum where is the ceasar sauce? The slice of parmiggiano? The taste?? Just a salad with a... More

Had a meal for five and they managed to squeeze us in. The food was very good and the service was adequate. Nothing special but like most pubs young teenagers usually cover a lot of the work waiting. Saying that they catered very well for a packed pub with a wedding reception going on, a booked up restaurant and a... More

Stopped here for impromptu supper. Great pizzas for the children, delicious roast pork, tasty fish pie & great starter nachos with a bit of a kick. Lovely atmosphere & nicely decorated. Will return.

We booked the Tepee at The Moat House for a Hen Party on a Sunday in September 2016. We had the Tepee from 5-10pm at a cost of £100 to hire. We had 25 people in there & ordered food @ £12 a head, we had fish cakes, Brie wedges, bread sticks, chips, hot sausages & chicken skewers. Various dips... More
