Went there one Saturday night without booking. they still managed to fit us in even though the car park was completely full. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. The menu had a good choice of food with some regular cheap and cheerful options like burgers and pizza but also more refined choices such as black bream with a... More

I took my friend here for her 80th birthday lunch and I am so glad. Firstly the decor is very pleasing, quirky, mismatched chairs and a lovely tiled floor in the main dining are with windows and doors opening out on to a paved terrace area. There are other equally interesting areas,a further eating area at the front, a bar... More

Have been before and really enjoyed it, went last night, the food was average, the pizza was not cooked enough and the toppings were just stacked in the middle. Service was slow and the servers need lessons in politeness. The drinks are a massive rip off here. Restaurant was full of flies. Will not be back in a hurry

This pub was recently refurbished and this was our first visit. On of the party has a substantial business refurbishing pubs all over Europe and he was impressed as we all were with the décor. As a party of 10 we were given a table in a semi-enclosed alcove which was decorated with deer antlers. I was pleased to see... More

My Wife and I went out on speck for a meal. I suggested the Moat House as I had been before. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. The food and the staff were amazing.

This place is getting better and better every visit especially with groups. We are here on Friday evening with 9 other friends and all our meals came out together and all were correct a big step forward especially on a busy Friday evening. The specials board is always changing which is good to see. I had hake which was beautifully... More

Small portions of over priced food. Service with a smile is not easy but when try to you're not allowed to compliment any staff because they have "friends" who are sad enough to report the reviews and send messages when they don't even know what member of staff you refer to!
