Had lunch today with a friend and we were both disappointed. We had scampi and the homemade burger. The portion size was smaller than expected and frozen chips were served....I just get the feeling that the yellow door has plateaued and we certainly will not be returning. This has been a favourite for a long time ...but we will be... More

I have mixed feelings about the yellow door in several respects the quality and variety of food is good.....but it is just too expensive for what you get Restaurant itself is actually quite claustrophobic with a tight access passage up past the counter which is very difficult to negotiate with people trying to pay their bills. I think the yellow... More

Far too expensive for quality of food. £5.25 for a salad which consisted of chicken lettuce snd 4 baby boils! £2.25 for a small bottle of tropicana orange juice! Wont be back.

Family of 4 visited for lunch. Child of 4 had hot dog which was proper sausage not rubbish. Veggie gluten free meal for the older child which was beautifully presented. Meat sandwiches for the parents were very much different from the norm with lovely side salad of the usual leaves but with much more.

A must-go to in Portadown. Lovely soups, sausage rolls and don't forget their breads and desserts! Easily found off the main street.

Every time I go to the Yellow Door I enjoy my food but find the service unfriendly, unenthusiastic, cold, unhelpful - I haven't a good word to say about it frankly. I have no idea if this is because management create a bad working environment or what, but either way every time I go I think I will never come... More

A group of four visited the restaurant at approximately 3.50pm and were advised to take a seat, which we did promptly. We waited about 10 minutes before we got any service, at which time we were asked by the most unfriendly young member of staff if we were ready to order, but as we were never provided with menus we... Yesterday's visit was similar to all previous (about 10) visits over the past few years: top quality freshly prepared food, good value for money, friendly and efficient service - even though it's always busy.

Have to say I was a bit shocked when paying for my partner and I, For 2 sandwiches, 2 bottles of juice, a caramel square and a coffee it was £21.50? I have fed all 4 of us cheaper than that elsewhere. Food is decent, only thing I didn't really like was the chicken as it seemed to have a... More

Went for breakfast - place was empty at 10am on a Tuesday - not a good sign. Didn't have Gluten Free bread left and poached egg had a runny white. Waitress came to take our order and just stood there about four feet from the table and never spoke. Very bizarre.
