This was a last minute visit and we were fortunate to squeeze in on the last table. We are always made to feel very welcome at the BUtchers and this experience was the same again. For food, I had the Cockles and Laver Bread - the best in Wales! The burger for main was home made and was far too... More

Visited here once again for a celebration with family and friends. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We visited on a Tuesday evening, where the bar and restaurant were full, I think this speaks for itself. Great service and staff were very friendly. One thing we did feel, was that £6.50 for a dessert was rather expensive but even then, they... More

Brilliant evening, apon booking I was asked if I would like table for the evening which was most welcome as my guess's had travelled many miles. The atmosphere and staff were most welcoming, the menu inviting a separate vegetarian menu was also offered. Please try the home made steak pie with its puff pastry top it was amazing just melted... We were recommended this place by a few people, most of whom live 40+ miles away, so we booked a table here for a meal following a graduation. From the outside, this looks like any quaint village pub steeped in history. When we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome from the lady at the bar, and we were... More

Great food as usual, always happy to pay that bit more for a great meal, Shame about that huge mirror in the dining room, this needs to go! It's not good seeing yourself feed your face! Not a criticism of the food or service, oh, they have but brown ale! Brilliant!
