We had the chicken ham & leek and the comity (cheese leek onion & potato) pies today. Chips twice cooked and fantastic. Mash perfect. Onion gravy a meal in itself. Fair prices and fantastic food. Visit if anywhere near.

Went here off the cuff when we were in Skipton during the summer. The service was good, the location nice and the price is ok. I found that the pies are delicious with lots of lovely choices, but the chips were a bit thick and...More

Six of us made so welcome. Helpful staff with a sense of fun. Fast food made slow and the willingness to please. Proper pies with bottoms, shortcrust pastry might make them even better.

Selection of pies on offer. Can then have additions such as peas, mushy peas, mash and gravy or green liquor. Pie seemed a little dry. Mash could have been powdered. Dont expect mushy peas like the ones served with traditional fish and chips. Green liquor...More

We ate here on the strength of trip advisor rating which the restaurant proudly displayed outside it's entrance. What a mistake! The pies are expensive and of the standard you'd expect from a low class chip shop. Soggy pastry, and so-so flavour. Five chips apparently...More

Yep, they do pies, mash, chips, gravy. Will do a vegetarian gravy to go with your vegetarian pie if you choose not to have meat. We got there a bit late yesterday so they didn’t have any meat pies ready to go (but did offer...More
