We visited for tea on a Sunday. The pub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. There was live music on downstairs but there is an upstairs if you aren't bothered about that. We could still here fine. We found the staff very friendly and both enjoyed a couple of excellent beers. I had the corned beef... More

We wanted a pub meal out whilst staying in Skipton and this fitted the bill well. Found a table easily but a good crowd in. In fact only down side was just one noisy guy with a loud voice reverberating around. Just one of those things Food was good value and tasty - we both had the steak and ale... More

Would definitely recommend eating and/or drinking here. The menu offers a wide range of choices and the meals my partner and I ate were fantastic. The prices are reasonable and you get a decent portion size, although my partner was slightly disappointed with the size of the burger and chips at £7.50 (or around there). Ladies there are free tampons... More

Called in during a weekend in Skipton, was amazed that two single gin and slimline tonics cost £10.40, couldn't even taste the gin, won't be trying it again.

This is an excellent boozer, as are all the pubs in the Market town Tavern chain (my local being the Symposium in Idle) Great selection of real ales, craft beers and lager and lovely food in a nice setting There's nothing else to be said .. it's just .. right !!!

Just off the main street, up a cobbled road. Have a beer on a sunny day, sit in the sun at the front of the pub. Great array of beer, lovely pub inside too.

Food was good, lots of choice. Made the dog very very welcome, with drinks and snacks from the bar. The adults were also treated to a taster of some of their speciality beers. The staff could not have been more helpful, they were great. Next time we are in Skipton we will definitely visit.

Thank Steve W
