We hadn't booked, but we were seated in the bar area, which suited us well. Service was prompt and the food was very nice. I loved the Yorkshire pudding.

Wether it's just for a pint of Landlord and a glass of red sat by a crackling log fire or in this case Gammon Steaks with twice cooked chips The Wooly Sheep doesn't disappoint. Food was excellent and worth the money. May stay over next time we're in Skipton.

Had a absolutely amazing meal here. Friendly staff, proper food and a great interior, what more could you want. Also, I really recommend the Fish 'n' Chips, best I have ever had.

This place is in the CAMRA beer guide from 2015 so it would have been rude to give it a miss. It is very central and if you don't see it you have to be blind. Inside is a roaring fire, beautiful exposed beams and a reasonable amount of tables. They have a great selection of hand pulled beers, although... More

Hiding behind a narrow frontage, this inn goes back a long way, offering plenty seating in traditional surroundings. The inn offers an extensive menu with plenty of daily specials and a good range of ales. Food was very good and portions ample (i.e. large). Service was efficient and cheerful.
