had a really nice brunch before getting on the train to go into Melbourne city. So great location to the train station. My sister and I both had the lemon & sugar crepes - yum, just the right size and very tasty. Coffee was good too. Place was pretty busy which is a good sign and the coffee must be... More

Okay, I probably knew about this place for a while but it didn't jump onto my radar until much recently when I stepped into the pub across the road for a spot of beer. The biggest problem is that this place opens at 8:00 am which makes getting to work on time and having a decent breakfast can be a... More

A little different to the hipster run cafes of this area. However, its ok for a quick breakfast and coffee. Service is friendly and food was good. Probably needs a little refurbishing inside.

This is a local institution. I go almost every Saturday for breakfast. The coffee is hit and miss, but the menu is good, and the blackboard specials are frequently updated. Prices are a little high, but I suppose that reflects the inner suburb price range these days.

Impeccable food. Had a to-die-for breakfast with a friend who lives nearby. The meal was great, coffee also very good. Could easily of had most things on the menu as they have added extra goodness on most plates. However, my friend and i sat outside, and we weren't served for a very long time. The boss/managers seemed lovely but the... More

I was taken here by a family friend on the way back from healesville sanctuary. we sat in the sit down restaurant area at the back. I can honestly say that the flavours in the meals were delicious. 3 courses later and very comfortably full, but not carb overloaded, a very happy customer!

I had the French toast with mascarpone and berries. While the toast itself was good the berries were disgusting and inedible as they were defrosted, tasteless and, frankly horrible. I asked for maple syrup, which surprisingly didn't come with the meal. Coffee is good, but the most expensive I've found in Melbourne, service is hit and miss, stood for over... More

My friend suggested a late brekky at this delightful restaurant hidden away in Clifton Hill. We had a excellent meal with relaxed atmosphere. Food was well prepared and good quality. Try this for something deliciously different.

This cafe just goes from strength to strength. They have recently changed hands and it's amazing that while the food started out fantastic with the founding owner (2 owners ago) and each owner has built on it and improved the food so now it's outstanding, and so reasonable. The only thing that is stopping the cafe from getting 5 stars... More

A small cafe that epitomizes the local cafe scene. Friendly staff, good food, the place where Clifton Hill residents can be found on weekends. Try the mixed berry smoothy for a meal in itself.
