We arrived for dinner early, because we were going to do tour of bio bay. We all had specials. The wahoo that I had was excellent. Service was very good. I may return again before I leave. That should sum it up!

We had a wonderful dinner at El Quenepo. Creative mix of tastes and ingredients, we loved it. Our kids and us tried all 4 plates we ordered, and we agreed that the best one was the pan seared scallops (I looooved the side salad), second best the 3-way lamb. The best dessert was the goat cheese chesecake, yum. Very good... More

Great food...we ate mostly the specials: soup of the night was a lobster bisque, also had a sushi roll appetizer, and snapper main course. All was incredible/tasty. Service was great. Not an inexpensive place...but worth it!

Perfect setting. Excellent service. Well-constructed menu. THE BEST MEAL THAT WE HAD DURING OUR 8-DAY VISIT TO PUERTO RICO! Be sure to make a reservation!

Outstanding. Quality service and lovely presentation! We enjoyed the homemade duck prosciutto, the sea bass special, and the pretzel crusted scallops. The lamb three ways is also very good.

I'm not sure I have anything to add to all the positive reviews. We had great food, it was busy and the food itself impeccably prepared. If I had one negative it was that the wait staff were a bit unattentive to small things like water and there was a long wait. Our waitress was flippant and slightly snarky.

More upscale and the prices reflect that but totally worth it. Big portions and an elegant atmosphere; good service too. Had an incredible rib eye two ways and crazy -good desserts. Not as casual as other places but definitely not formal, either.

If you are a gourmand, you'll probably already know about this place. Cocktails are not the usual fruit juice and coconut milk, but typical of bigger cities - yes, you can get something that doesn't come with an umbrella in it. Dinner was excellent. Service was great, the arepas were to die for.
