Visited on a trip back from Truro, was looking for a nice cream tea before our holiday was over and the Elm Tree did not disappoint! Delicious big scones with jam and cream and a lovely pot of tea. Would recommend, lovely little tea room...More

We were looking for fresh baked scones and found them here - cheese or plain. I thought I saw someone with fruit scones but we weren't offered any - disappointingly. We had cheese and plain scones. They were very nice. The staff seemed nice enough...More

My mother and I called in for lunch a couple of weeks and were very impressed with everything, especially the home-made cheese scone which came with my mum's soup and the wonderful lemon and blueberry sponge. Very nice baked potato with roasted veg and feta....More

The soup and cheese scone is the very best. Cakes are out of this world as is the cream tea. Soup is handmade, thick and delicious. Cheeses scones full of cheese and flavour, light too. Cakes and cream tea to die for.

Have been here several times & it's always lovely as homemade food but today it was marred (after we spent over £30 for lunch for 2 of us) by them cutting a slice of chocolate cake in half for us to take away @ £3....More

We called in on the way back from a shopping spree in Truro. Perfect stop off for coffee, tea, cakes and a super-sized hot, white chocolate. Cakes were delicious - so many to choose from!
