We have just visited the Elm tree for a cream tea ,so nice it's off the beaten track,parking easy,it had a nice little garden to enjoy a gorgeous cream tea with beautiful fresh scones would highly recommended this cafe.

The soup and cheese scone is the very best. Cakes are out of this world as is the cream tea. Soup is handmade, thick and delicious. Cheeses scones full of cheese and flavour, light too. Cakes and cream tea to die for.
Have been here several times & it's always lovely as homemade food but today it was marred (after we spent over £30 for lunch for 2 of us) by them cutting a slice of chocolate cake in half for us to take away @ £3....More
