Superb food. Warm, welcoming service. Our favourite place to eat in Truro. Well worth a visit. Best salads around. Nick, Heather & Isobel

We came across the Arts Cafe by accident while shopping in Truro. It has a very nice seated area inside but also has a number of tables for al fresco dining. The cafe is attached to the Truro museum and is also an arts supply shop. Some nice bites on offer. Also serves beers and wines as well as regular teas,... More

Average kind of place. A cafe to have coffee and cakes and typical English snacks. Has an art shop in the back which could do with a bit of organisation. Moderate at best, but cosy in the winter if they have a fire going. Nice outside terraces and umbrella area when its not raining.

Lovely outside area - great if you have a dog, they have water out for them. I have not seen if they can be taken inside. Great art shop & stylish cafe interior. Lots of lovely healthy choices on the menu, which when on holiday is great, as this place is a real antidote to too many pasties and fish... More

I sometimes stop here for two reasons. the coffee is quite good and the outside area is quite a nice place to sit. The inside is nice too come to that. Downstairs very cosy in the winter, upstairs bright and cheerful. I haven't eaten here because I consider it pricey and also the service isn't that great [Which makes me... More

The décor is very contemporary but it was a hot day when we visited and very hot and stuffy. The waitresses are not very friendly and non-smiley and found that very off-putting. However, the food is very nice but you do wait a while. Don't think I will come back next time I am in Cornwall.

A large overhead sign said 'Order food here - (arrow)'. So we stood & waited, & waited. Three members of staff were behind the serving station but we were ignored. Eventually one asked 'Are you OK?' , so responded 'We're waiting to order food'. There were a list of salads & I chose a 'Heritage' salad (£7.95), with smoked salmon.... More

Well priced. 10% off with park and ride ticket. Friendly staff. Nice drinks. Dog friendly in the outside area which has plenty of space. Would come again.

The inviting Arts Café sits between the Royal Cornwall Museum and Truro Arts Company, and offers plenty of seating for your morning coffee, lunch meeting, or afternoon tea. Fresh, colourful salads, homemade soup, jacket potatoes, quiches sandwiches and toasted paninis are all made to order. We are very proud to have recently received a Taste of the West Silver award for our freshly made meals and snacks.
