It was Christmas time and they were decorating the tree. He was using a couple of tables to put decorations on and we were there for a business meeting so needed to sit facing the door. When I politely asked if I could sit at one of the tables where he had put just a few decorations he told me... More

We are regular visitors to this cafe, and the food has always been very good. What lets the side down is the management of the place. Today 11th July the downstairs kitchen area was closed, the reason being according to a staff member was that if management felt it was in staff interests to run without the downstairs kitchen then... Attached to the Museum and it's super art supplies store, this café offers a pleasant oasis for a quick coffee or very nice bite for lunch (breakfast also served). There is a large indoor area immediately inside with more seats upstairs. Plenty of room outside and traffic is not distracting - unlike the antics of Steve, the resident seagull! He's... More

Popped in for a quick coffee & a teacake before shopping. Lovely clean open plan café which has an art shop connected to it. Fantastic for budding or professional artists in painting, drawing, some crafts. Gifts also. Lovely to walk around. Can sit outside when warm, but also has a cosy fire for the colder months. Service was a little... More

This is a great place for a light lunch, coffee and cake or a cuppa. It is light and airy, the service is good, the menu varied and interesting. The salads are gorgeous as is the focaccia. Quite pricey for a snarky place but outs well located and popular so worth it.

We ate here on Tuesday; the location was beautiful. We ate a Cornish Platter and the Quiche of the day. Both meals were delicious, reasonably priced and the service was excellent.

This was a long overdue visit - and so glad we finally made it. The cafe is set on three floors plus an outside area, so is much bigger than on first impressions. The food was delicious, service quick and portion sizes very generous. Jacket potatoes were THE best. The park and ride tickets can also be cashed in towards... More

Been here a couple of times now and found it a very pleasant visit. The food portions are good generous for its price which is always good to see. The interior is beautifully laid out. Staff are friendly. Coffee was great and smooth. The only critic I can say is the toilets are looking a bit sad. A nice coat... More

Visited here on a Saturday lunchtime this month. The cafe was busy but we were lucky to find a seat. The selection of salads and specials on offer were amazing and it was difficult to make a choice; they all sounded very tempting. We opted for Salads (as we had plans to eat out that evening) - we were pleased... More

We stumbled onto this cafe because it is next to the Royal Cornwall Museum. Initially only intending to have tea, after a look at the menu we settled for lunch. Food was home cooked and delicious and very good value. The cakes also looked super although after a generous serving of lunch we had no room! Staff were friendly and... More
