Popped in for lunch on a very rainy day and found the staff pleasant and helpful. The fish and chips was delicious and not too pricey. Gorgeous proper cider on offer and a few real ales... a couple of pints of Cwrw Haf were very much enjoyed by the hubby.

We stopped at the Griffin for drinks on a couple of occasions whilst staying in Dale and finally stayed to eat on a Thursday evening. The food was utterly delicious, well presented and hearty. They live up to their reputation as fish experts, but a nod must be made to their chips, which were the best I've ever tasted. The... More

We enjoyed a fabulous meal in the restaurant at the Griffin Inn. The location is stunning as the pub is adjacent to the peaceful picturesque bay of Dale. Our waitress, Rachel, was very knowledgeable of the menu particularly the extensive fish menu. Much of the fish is caught locally in the bay or slightly further out. My husband and I... More

Called in on the off chance there was a table free and the place was packed, with lots of drinkers stood outside as there were no tables left inside. Real mix of people from families to people who'd been out sailing all day. We grabbed a table on the terrace which is very exposed to the wind and would really... More

Our friends had booked the table as they had visited before and enjoyed the food. We had had a very good day sailing and walking in the sun and being shown to our table in the 'new' area continued the happy day. The waiter sat with us and explained each of the fish dishes in detail as well as giving... More

We love coming to Dale and enjoy the Griffin every time, I had the prawn curry which was excellent and my wife had the battered haddock. The kids enjoyed scampi and the burger. The staff were friendly and well informed, the service was excellent and I would recommend coming here to everyone. We will be coming back several times this... More

We booked a table here the day before (definitely recommend doing!). The staff were very friendly and super helpful. We had a table in the main bar area that overlooked the water. The menu was fantastic! There is a menu if you didn't fancy having fish. My daughter had the chicken and leek pie, which was delicious. The waitress went... More

Lovely view over Dale bay. The food and device are good with lots of fresh fish specials. A little on the pricey side but worth a visit.
