It's nice outside, and OK inside. We had an OK beef and had some beers here. And Straumen is absolutely a place to have a stop over.

Our Norwegian family took us here for pizza and it was great. Cozy friendly atmosphere and beautiful location.
The location of the place is awesome, just at the fjord with an amazing view. The interior looks very original and Cozy. The food is very tasty and very big portions. Nevertheless it is the typical Norwegian pizza and burger stuff you get everywhere, here...in addition with some kebab variations. All very good and fairly priced, but the good location would justify an upscale of the kitchen. Perfect for lunch, or to have a Beer enjoying the sunset. We will come again.More
On a nice day you can sit outside overlooking the channel and bridge. I had a pizza like I have never thought about ordering and it was tasty and way too much to be able to eat it all. The place is a good choice...for dining in Inderoy.More
The restaurant is in a old harbour building, with lots of history. Very nice Fish and Chips, almost as in England. nice view to the nearby sea.
After having heard so much good about this place, I brought my four bosses here when they were visiting my region. (I my self had recently moved to the area and had yet to try somethibg other than road-side diners). I was not expecting white...table-cloth service, rather traditional Norwegian food with an emphasis on fish. Upon arrival, the looks of the building and interior supported this expectation, and I felt very happy about my choice. Untill I saw the menu. Pizza, bog-standard "steak with bernaise-sauce" and deep-fried fish was just not what I expected - this place has potential for so much more! Still, we have it a go - all of the above can be nice, if it's well prepared. It was not - my fish was soggy and with an unfortunate batter:fish-ratio, the chips tasted like they came from a industrial frozen bag (rather than freshly cut), the salad was unispirational at best. My bosses tried to be polite, saying at first that it was "ok", but admitted after a while that the steaks were overdone and bland. Staff were attentive and sweet. And the views were as good as I had hoped for.More
on the outside it looked a bit small, but coming in it turned out to be a very large restaurant with a very nice atmosphere! The low beams made us bend over a little since many members of our family are quite tall but that...made the restaurant look cosy and friendly. The menu was not extensive, but there definitely choice enough! The dishes were served quickly and tasted deliciously!More
