I've eaten here many times over the years and recently it has became really bad. The prices haven't been reduced to reflect the fact that they no longer bother to buy fresh vegetables. everything is served with chips and not even a pea on the plate. Half a tomato and half a mushroom were token gestures. The risotto was terribly cooked... More

What a great place this is! We sat in the pub enjoying a drink in the cosy pub, watching the world go by through the huge windows and realised there was a dining room upstairs. We were greeted by a delightfully friendly and efficient waitress. Fab food, great beer, superb value in a lovely place! Well done .

Came to the Riverhead for tea on Saturday evening, firstly the restaurant is upstairs which is nice to be separated from the pub. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly and the food was brought out quickly. All 3 courses were delicious, I would highly recommend.

We visited this pub last year and it was really enjoyable, now something has gone seriously wrong here, the food is expensive and not even good. The mash potato served was cold and had to be returned, and the portions were quite small. The poor girl serving was run off her feet, dealing with the complaints and serving, people were... More

Beers brewed on the premises, restaurant upstairs, live music, river at the front, friendly locals - what more could you want?

Great pub and fantastic beer. You must try the butterly bitter. One of my favorite pints. Pub near Marsden railway station so handy for the train.

We called here before going to a local event and had about 45 minutes to grad a bite to eat. The waitress was very accommodating and made sure we were in served and out in plenty of time for our event. The food was tasty - randomly we shared a camembert (yummy!) and a Yorkshire Pudding which was very tasty.... More

We came here on the Real Ale rail trail. Whilst it's a decent pub with home brewed ales, the beer range could be better. Nothing strong and hoppy. We didn't eat. The wi fi was poor.

Just been for a drink in the Riverhead, always a good atmosphere and great hand pulled beer served with a smile by knowledgeable staff. No pretence about this place, a true mix of people. Food is also excellent upstairs having eaten here in the past.
