We stayed in a small cottage in Linton and called in to eat / drink on a number of occasions. Always good , always busy. Dog friendly.

My wife and I walked the 25 minutes from Grassington on 4 evenings to Linton for the lovely food and beer in the Fountaine Inn. On two of the evenings we tried the ‘Tick-Tock’ early bird menu, where the price you pay is the time on the clock. So, at 7pm you can get a bowl of soup with two... More
The Fountaine Inn location couldn't be better especially if you enjoy being surrounded by beautiful countryside with excellent walking with good pub food. The village is in such an idyllic location but quite easy to access from other areas of the Dales. The rooms are in a separate building at the back of the pub so are away from any... More
Four of us were cycling along the Leeds Liverpool canal. We had started in Blackburn and our first overnight stop was in Barnoldswick. The Foutain Inn was very good. The atmosphere in the bar area was excellent - really friendly. We had two good rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant area. The food was excellent and the portion sizes... More

Visited for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and we were very impressed by the setting/pub/restaurant and food. We had roast beef and pork served with very nice fresh vegetables and what has to be the BEST/Largest Yorkshire pudding that I/we have ever eaten!. Service was very efficient/friendly and overall - great value for money. We will defiantly be... More

We found a full and varied menu, and the food was very good - so good in fact that we returned a couple of days after our initial visit! The fish and chips... More
