On a cold Easter Saturday I’d already failed to park in busy Kettlewell and been dissatisfied by the pubs in nearby Grassington when I came to Linton. When I’m driving I always restrict myself to one pint so it has to be a good one. I’m very glad to have found the wonderful Fountaine Inn. Linton is a pretty village... More

Visited for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and we were very impressed by the setting/pub/restaurant and food. We had roast beef and pork served with very nice fresh vegetables and what has to be the BEST/Largest Yorkshire pudding that I/we have ever eaten!. Service was very efficient/friendly and overall - great value for money. We will defiantly be... More

What a lovely place for a lunch stop, and in such a delightful location in the picturesque village of Linton with its green and stream running through. We found a full and varied menu, and the food was very good - so good in fact that we returned a couple of days after our initial visit! The fish and chips... More

This is a great find. A really lovely pub in idyllic surroundings. The beer was great (local Wharfedale recommended), the cleanliness was great, the decor lovely and the welcome to us and our digs great. We didn't stop for food but the couple near us raved over their burgers and they looked absolutely delicious.

The picture book setting, decent food and prices means I'll stop again next time in the locality. Massive portions for starters and mains so make sure you've got an appetite if ordering both

This place has it all - a beautiful setting, a lovely quirky building and great food. So often we are disappointed with pub lunches - weary, unoriginal food at inflated prices. So it was a delight today to see a menu loaded with unusual dishes including, for once, plenty for vegetarians. I had a butternut squash, goats' cheese and beetroot... More

It was mid afternoon on a quiet weekday and we hadn't eaten so we're delighted to find somewhere serving food. The inn is set in a lovely location, in the Yorkshire Dales and on the edge of a village green that also has water and ducks. There was ample parking space and a good menu with soup, sandwiches and main... More
