It is probably one of the most awful looking restaurants we’ve ever been. The woman, I assume the owner has zero personality, very unfriendly. We ordered two hot and sour soups, cups were served 3/4 full and were a whopping $3.95 each. Only pints and...quarts on menu, I should have asked the price. I asked for noodles for soup and my upcoming shrimp chow mein, she literally brought a saucer of 6-8 stale noodles. The food was pretty tasty only because I asked for spicy. The check was $30+tip, insane for a joint like this. Nice to support local restaurants, but we’ll never return.More

We visited to get take-out dinners. Phoned our orders in and upon arrival 10 minutes later both were ready and prepared as ordered. Nice menu and good food prepared as ordered. Well worth a visit. The food is good and reasonably priced.

Must read...Woman owner is crazy.. My wife and I ate here several times before this incident, 3-4 i think and it was just OK , actually not bad considering... Last time went and ordered 2-3 dishes and another chicken dish. It was fried , obviously...(older cooked) because it was hard and rubbery. Told her we didn't like it and was not fresh, will order another different dish. She responded, you eat... Is fresh.. I said No, its bad, hard as rubber and take it away, we will order something else. No you eat it, you pay. I had taken a bite to test dish. Horrible. She yelled no, you eat you pay now. I told her here in US when food is very bad, you don't eat and certainly you don't pay. She took the menu away stopping us from ordering another, went to get the check and stated, You pay now.... I told her son, Family rest. maybe she doesn't understand. He said no she does, ok?? I went to register and circled the bad dish, paid for rest of meal, plus tip. She and husband (cook) then start yelling, CALL 911, Call 911 to kid (son). I said yes go ahead and call, whats your emergency, Orange Chicken??? I told my wife lets go, she is nuts. Crazy woman follows us out to parking lot, recording us and license plate, 911 "Going get you".. I told her good, send them over. A total whack owner that doesn't understand that you do this you loose a revolving customer for $3.00 it costs them. Tons of horrible reviews for this kook woman, well deserved negative review. Love Chinese food and this is our go to restaurant when we want take out Chinese. Food is always fresh and delicious. Only issue I have is if you ask for spicy it really isn’t. No problem I have Chinese spice at home. Also not...really an eat in restaurant but boy do they know how to cook.More

Dreary atmosphere and sad . They made some improvements, but not much. My college cafeteria had more charm and warmth. The food was very good,but not enough for us to dine in there again.

The appetizers were great, but the best was the Orange Chicken. Every time I get it somewhere else it tastes like a tiny piece of frozen chicken was breaded multiple times and then cooked so that it has no taste and it tough as rubber....Here the chicken was fresh and lightly breaded breast meat that had a wonderful orange sauce that you could taste! 'Will make this my go-to when I want oriental food!More

We called in our order for two dinners and arrived at the restaurant some 10 minutes later. The food was brought out and was exactly as ordered. It is all excellently prepared and presented and there was enough in each dinner to last two servings....Great job taking the order and all at very reasonable prices.More

Always great food here. This is a family run restaurant. They are all business and if you want great food consistently, you will find it here. Their Mei Fun (house) is very good and Chicken with Mixed Veg also very good. They do all the...main staples well. Many people complain about the atmosphere and service. If that's going to upset your apple cart you may want to go elsewhere...it's a pretty plain place and the people taking your order don't warm up until they know you. If you're looking for great food provided by a good family running a solid business, they've got that.More

This is hands down the best Chinese food restaurant in the area. I'm baffled by some of the other reviews I read on here, and honestly think there is a cultural disconnect with some of these reviewers. You get what you give. If you treat...people nasty or come with a "Karen" attitude, that is exactly what you'll get in return. We have enjoyed their food for years now. Their Chinese food is supreme in this area. We've watched Jerry, the owners' "teenage son" grow from a young boy into a handsome young man. In fact, the day that we moved here, I went to pick up our food and my card was declined. The mother gave me the food and told me to pay when we could, and I did. That was years ago and we still visit at least once a month.This is a wonderful family and the food couldn't be better. Perhaps if some folks weren't going around acting so entitled and uppity, they would have a better experience. I highly recommend the Dragon Pheonix. Just be kind and understanding when you visit and you are sure to have a great experience. Mom always waves and Jerry is always a character with quick wit. Keep up the great work!More

This family of three is almost stereo typically the hard-working Chinese family that we have all heard about. With the COVID-19 situation they have been creative in being able to serve takeout . They have set up a window so that the customers do not...have to go inside to retrieve their take-out orders.
