This restaurant has very good food. You will not leave hungry. I wish they also had "a la carte" and not have to take the menu because it was too much food and couldn't finish.

This restaurant was recommended in the Rough Guide and we weren't disappointed. The location on the harbour front is great. We had the 23 euro set menu which had a great choice including a chef's special for each of the 3 courses. The service was excellent, the food delicious and attractively presented. We would highly recommend it

It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I stayed at the Hotel Corinna (see my review), and the proprietor strongly recommended this restaurant. A great suggestion! It's a seafood restaurant overlooking the boat harbor, very near the Bordeaux ferry. Decor is bright and comfortable, and service is attentive and efficient. I had a pasta dish with squid, and Mrs.... More

Facing Royan marina the restaurant is in a nice spot and gives a pleasant view (we were next to a window), the staff are very welcoming, friendly and offer advice where needed. The menu is mainly fish with a number of choices including one dish for each course that depended on the chef's mood of the day - I tried... More

The restaurant is in a fantastic location with a lovely view of the marina, staff were really welcoming and very helpful. The first course was very good, club sandwich with confit de canard, another was coriander blini with smoked salmon both very nice. The foie gras was good but could have been served with better accompaniments. Main course was average,... More

A good quality - primarily fish - restaurant on the port. Perfectly cooked fish and sea food served in imaginative ways. Considerably better than the average in Royan and not aimed at tourists. Really cool staff and good service.

A great little restaurant with a nice atmosphere and freindly English speaking staff. Had the risotto cake to start, really nicely seasoned and very imanigative. For main the veal, which was a chef special. This was very succulant and tasty served with vegtables and rice in a large bowl. Sweet was the tart tartin, again really flavoursome. All our dishes... One of the best restaurants in Royan. And the price is low for a sophisticated place like this. The food was not all to my liking, though it mostly wasn't the fault if the PB itself. The cod came with a green sauce and ratatouille. I'm not a fan of fish in general so missed much of this. The main... More
