Turned up as we had heard this place had great food . When we arrived place was closing - we had been delayed her to g here. Debbie said not a problem I will feed you. I had stuffedchicken and hubby had stewed beef. All...comes with traditional side dishes and was one of the most filling dishes during our stay. Good was beautifully cooked and served. Hope to come back again before we leave. 😁More

We made reservations as we had a long drive from Marigot Bay and wanted to make sure Debbie's was open. Arrived to friendly welcome, ordered fresh mango juice, pumpkin soup and garlic bread, both good. We followed with dolfin (the Lushan name for Dorado/mahi-mahi) and...fresh shrimps, both dishes served with the usual wonderful array of tasty local vegetables, including pumpkin mash, fried plantains, deep fried okres, mashed potatoes and Debbie's yummy baked christophene with cheese. It was a real challenge to finish it all but when you are used to inferior and more expensive fare nearer where we stay, it was worth making the extra effort - and all for one-third or the cost of an inferior dinner at such places as Pirates Bay on Marigot Bay. We will be back next year, for sure! Service was friendly and efficient.More

Best restaurant on the island! If they were in the north of the island other businesses would suffer. They are always welcoming and helpful.

Debbies is my all time favorite food place and not too far from the airport! Been here many times!!! Service and food is consistently FABULOUS. Quiet peaceful area! I suggest they get hammocks coz after eating a nap is in order. Food is fresh and...divine. Great prices too! If you book in advance and mention that it's a special occasion you will be surprised at how nice they decorate your table!!!More

The truth is that a lot of so-called "authentic," non-touristy restaurants is St. Lucia have pretty thin gruel -- overcooked fish, fries, and salad is about as inventive as many places get. Debbie's is in another category all-together. The menu is very extensive, and the...fish is well prepared with a tasty sauce. You can order either fast-food or regular, the latter taking just a bit longer. Mains come with great sides -- breadfruit balls, eggplant parmesan, and much else. Service is excellent and the partially outdoor seating very pleasant. Don't miss it!More

We took a family trip to Vieux Fort due to a death in the family. My dad and aunts and uncles know Debbie very well so they decided to have a family lunch after our business was conducted in Vieux Fort. My only complaint was...that we were not offered water but the local juices they served us were great! Due to the size of our group they prepared a buffet for us. I tried just about everything and it was all very delicious! I absolutely love this place and Debbie is a wonderful host.More

We weren't entirely sure what to expect from Debbie's but we left very full and happy. If you're going for chic decor and a view you'll be disappointed but if you can appreciate a delicious home cooked meal, this is a great option. We did...try the rum punch and at $3EC it was delicious and inexpensive. We chose to forgo an appetizer as none really appealed to us which was a good decision as we couldn't even finish our entrees. I had the curry chicken and my boyfriend ordered the mahi mahi. Hands down, the mahi mahi was the best we've ever had. It was juicy and tender and the sauce was amazing. We couldn't pinpoint the flavouring but I'm thinking it was made it some type of bone broth. The curry chicken was also very good, tons of meat and veggies in a very flavourful sauce. At Debbie's you are served an assortment of side dishes in ramekins, family style. To the best of my memory this is what we had: pumpkin puree (so good!), mashed sweet potatoes, sweet potato croquettes, creamed spinach, breadfruit balls and an amazing baked eggplant dish. Prices were fair at $60EC per entree and the chocolate cake we took home at $7EC was also quite nice.More

If you want some of the best St. Lucian food at reasonable prices, this is the place to go. It is a lovely, shaded spot and very friendly service. The portions are generous and obviously made with care. Not only do you get a main...dish with salad, but they bting out about five side dishes of local vegetables. I read a review that said they were treated badly, but we had no such experience. I think if you go in with a friendly attitude, you will be reapid with one. Mary GMore

My wife and I were the only diners at Debbie's one recent Monday night, and were given very personalized service as a result. Apparently, this restaurant does not always open some evenings unless there is a group reservation. We were fortunate in that a group...had cancelled that night and we were able to experience it. My wife had dolphin and shrimp and I had steak and shrimp. There were also several side dishes included with the entrees, and the best was the croquettes. The food was fresh and the atmosphere was pleasing, We would eat at Debbie's again given the chance.More

My family and I visited Debbie's twice this past week on our vacation in Saint Lucia. The food was skillfully prepared with local ingredients and the service was friendly. The portions were large and we all enjoyed everything we had. The prices are the same...as the average restaurant in the US, so it wasn't a big deal for us. My husband who is a native St. Lucian enjoyed the meal immensely, which means it was definitely authentic! We will no doubt return to Debbie's in the future. Call ahead because they are not always busy and the hours are subject to change.More
