Very agreable, very relaxed.

friendly atmoshere, although not crowded. Nice terrasse, but it was too hot to sit outside. The main course, spinach and potatoes, was very good. another main course was bright green chicken, very nice to look at and very good to eat. The deep fried paneer as starter was a bit too dull. Very good service, we’ll be back

Chicken curry with rice and korma sauce

We took some chicken hot plate and chicken curry with one delicious garlic naan and butter naan. Just was the korma sauce too spicy for our child even we asked can be with honey means very sweet. Rize this time could look better. That is why we give on the scale a medium score.

Tasty food & friendly stuff

This is a restaurant which is ideal if you want to have a casual dinner with friends or family. Tasty food, correct prices, and the owner is always welcoming. I have also tried take away and lunch buffet, both good services too. To recommend.

Best Vindaloo

I order takeouts from them about once a month at least and have been doing so for the last 10 + years. Best Lamb Vindaloo (I order it ‘6times spicy’ to make sure it’s very very hot! ) I love it. Service is very friendly aswell and portions are big!!My son loves their Lamb Rogan Josh. Tried other indian restaurants and was always dissapointed! I will stick with Swagat for sure ☺️

Tried twice, will not go back

We went a couple of months ago and didn't have the best experience but thought we would try again as it is close to our home. Firstly, we ordered a child's menu of chicken drumsticks to arrive with our starters. When this didn't arrive, we were told that we had ordered a starter, not the childs menu (we had, because we pointed to it rather than saying it), and the drumsticks that arrived with our mixed grill was what we ordered! When we disagreed, the waitress laughed and said ok, and eventually the childs meal came. We asked for no dairy in our curries, as we don't like the flavour of the yoghurt added to many sauces. We were told this was no problem. The curries arrived all with yoghurt based sauces, but with added chilli, so they were super hot - too hot to enjoy. We did not bother complaining as the last time we visited here the same thing happened, and when we complained the owner laughed in our face and said that the chefs make the curries in the morning and sometimes they just add yogurt. So rather than telling us before it was served that they couldn't do it, they just served it. They were not good. The place was freezing cold. We asked for the AC to be turned off or the heating to be put up (it was -2 degrees outside), but we had to ask twice for this before they put on a fire heater. Our visitors spent the whole meal with their coats on. When clearing the table the waiter was persistent in asking to clear a plate that was not finished with, but when we asked him instead to clear the empty glasses he laughed at us! And to top it all, when the bill arrived, we had been charged for the drumstick starter that we had never ordered. The food was not good and neither was the service. We will not be back. We have tried another couple of similar restaurants in the area and have decided they are much better.

Absolutely horrible experience

We just had a delivery and it was pretty disgusting! It basically looks like half the dishes were reheated. On top of that the Momo’s had this weird discoloration as if they’ve either been repeatedly frozen or not properly de-frozen. The Naan was the biggest joke, you could kill with it, it was basically like a 2 day old pizza, probably reheated in the micro-oven. And all at the price of 60 euro for 2 persons. We decided to throw the whole lot in the bin, not sure how our stomachs would have reacted. This is the closest you’ll be to a daylight robbery

Very disappointing

The food was bland and disappointing. Not at all authentic Indian or Nepalese cuisine. Lack of spice, colour and flavour. Expensive too.

Good food but a bad surprise...

One of many Indian restaurants here in Luxembourg. The menu is more or less the same as elsewhere, food quality and service is good but at the end we had a bad surprise: the bill! When we ordered coffee we where asked if we wanted a "digestive" (as is common practise at most Indian restaurants here in Luxembourg this is offered by the house). Sure, we wanted! Too bad that those 2 small drinks ended up at the bill for EUR 8,95 each... And this left us with a bad feeling...

Original Food at its best

The welcome is always friendly and the service efficient. Food is definitely the best Indian/Nepalese in Luxembourg. There is plenty of space inside and out. Free parking behind the restaurant. Large menu with something for every taste. Can only recommend this place. Also their very reasonably priced lunch buffet.

Excellent food. Great Lunch Buffet. Stuff is very nice. During winter sitting upstairs might be cold so better to sit on the lower level.

Love this place. I go there every time!!

People!! Go here!! This is it. This is the place. Love this authentic kitchen with its super good food, excellent service, and the owners are just so nice people. They mingle with the guests and chat and make sure everything is going smoothly. I go there every time I visit Luxembourg.

This was my first time at the restaurant. The decor was quite fresh and the lighting and noise level very good. It was a Saturday night and it was quite full, so it could be worth booking a table. The other diners seemed mostly to be Luxembourgers, which is quite unusual to see. The meal was quite nice - I had Aloo Channa and my companion had a chicken curry. It came with some nice spiced popadoms and we also ordered Naan bread. It was not the best curry that I have had in Luxembourg, but I would go back and try something different.
