We didn't eat here this time but just stopped for drinks. The rum punch was the best on the island and was a very good price. The punch was also the biggest on the island. The owner is very friendly and always takes time to chat with us. The food is on the pricier side but was conveniently located close... More

My wife and I ate here near the end of our stay. The owner was friendly, happy, and very accommodating. I don't like vegetables so he offered fries, which were very good. The ribeye was great. My wife had grouper fingers which were very good too. The price was fairly high, but, without us asking, he knocked quite a bit... More

We ate twice at Cheaters. The food was delicious and chef Julian is very eager to please, both times preparing us items that were not on the menu. The rum cake with ice cream is outstanding.

Food prices on Exuma can be on the pricey side because most everything is imported. This was pricier than most, but conveniently located and has wireless internet. Conch chowder was great, owner is friendly, entrees over 30.00.

Julien was an amazing host. We drove by on Boxing Day looking for an open restaurant and saw Cheater's. Julien opened up for us, made us incredible fish and chips and made us great drinks. He was fun and so hospitable. The whole family so appreciated the service and food.

A local recommended so we were hoping for a great find. We were the only ones there. The Ribeye was very delicious and tender. The rest of the food was unimpressive and overpriced. The owner and cook came out and spoke to us. That was a nice touch. We will not be going back for a second visit because of... More

Three of us visited Cheaters for very good meals. I had the "blackened shrimp" very spicy, I would try the garlic shrimp next time. My wife and a friend had the chicken which they said was very good. Vegetables and rice were cooked perfectly. The owner appeared was very flexible, I believe he would accommodate any request.

The food was good, very down to earth but nothing fancy. Our kids loved the cracked chicken. The lobster we skipped because we didn't want to spend $40 per dish Ina basic place like this. We had conch fritters as a starter, they were good although on the greasy side. The location felt a little sad and lost -located directly... More

We had been recommended Cheater's by several people who often visit Great Exuma. As the weather wasn't great we were happy to go to a roadside restaurant. Arrived with nobody else around other than one lone couple eating. Eventually we found the owner who was welcoming and friendly. It's very basic inside though music was switched on creating a bit... I have been traveling the world as a Pilot and this is by far the best cracked conch that I ever had.
