although busy the landlord managed to put in our orders before the larger groups which was very good of him. Ihad thai fishcakes with side salad and chips. the chilli dip was well made . the helpings are generous but not over the top. we were made to feel wecome and that is always good.

Stopped here for lunch which we did enjoy, bar girl was friendly but the few that was in kept quiet and never spoke, it didn't spoil us enjoying our lunch though but thanks go to the girl on the bar you did well 👍😂

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Rose Hill B and B as recommended by our hostess. We arrived at 5:30 which was too early for dinner. We had a drink and the barmaid called our hostess for us to say that we were going to be late for our planned 6:00 arrival. The menu was quite extensive... More

Although we knew from reviews that this was basic pub food it was still very disappointing. Warm wine followed by terrible cod and packet tartar sauce. The lamb was apparently nice but came in what can only be described as soup. Quite expensive for what it was.

Went here for a drink and meal with a colleague. Food was okay - bog standard, average pub food - nothing special. Beer selection was good and well kept - really enjoyed a few of those available. Host is friendly as was the restaurant girl. The locals were less welcoming - nothing sinister, just felt like we were "intruding" in... More

We're a group of contractors staying at the Silverdale and popped up here for drinks. Great selection of Ales and a top little pub. We didn't eat here but from what we saw the food looks pretty decent. This place would be one of my locals if i lived round here.

Popped in after a day on the beach on our way back to the holiday cottage. Barmaid was great with the kids and the chef was shouting out friendly hellos from the kitchen on our way in. The steak and ale pie was great, really tasty and they happily tweaked the kids meals too which really helped. Couple of real... More

Went in for an evening meal following a recommendation from a shopkeeper in Haverfordwest. She wasn't wrong. Great menu, huge portions, really tasty food, fantastically helpful and friendly staff and all at a good price. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this area, I'm sure the locals all know about it already.

Very friendly staff, good basic pub grub and a good choice of ales and Whiskies. Lots of locals in the bar all of whom were welcoming too.
